The 74th Emmy Awards are officially kicking off in Los Angeles, with this year’s ceremony paying homage to the talented A-list stars who have captivated us via our screens. And while their accolades are exciting enough, what holds our attention has to what they wear while swanning down the red carpet.
This year’s Primetime Emmy Awards is unlike what we’ve come to know over the past two years. While COVID-19 is still very much a part of our lives, the awards have decided to forgo their previous remote setup and opt for the traditional red carpet and in-person appearances. Taking place at the Microsoft Theatre in LA, the seemingly endless golden carpet has already seen a plethora of famous faces ascend in the most glittery and glamorous ensembles.
As for who we can expect to see hit the red carpet—and hopefully take home the coveted golden statue—it’s hard to choose. With a nominations list so abundant in A-list talent, there’s hope for Killing Eve’s Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer, Squid Game’s Hoyeon Jung, The Staircase‘s Toni Collette, Succession‘s Sarah Snook, Euphoria’s Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney, just to name a few.
