The 2020 Emmy Awards have officially begun, and while this year’s red carpet might be a tad unconventional, with celebrities putting on their Sunday best in their own homes, there are still a number of incredible looks to behold.
Standouts from the night include Zendaya in Christopher John Rogers, Regina King in sculptural Schiaparelli and Tracee Ellis Ross’ glimmering Alexandre Vauthier (complete with an at-home red carpet and face mask).

Zendaya
Nominated for best lead actress in a drama series, Euphoria star Zendaya commenced the night in a dress by Christopher John Rogers, bejewelled shoes by Christian Louboutin and jewellery by Bulgari. To accept her award, the actressed changed into a custom Giorgio Armani Privé gown.
Laverne Cox
Nominated for best guest actress in a drama series, Orange Is The New Black’s Laverne Cox wore a printed, sheer dress by Sebastian Gunawan with a bodysuit by Fleur du Mal, and jewellery by Anabela Chan and Raven Fine Jewelers.
Annie Murphy
Nominated for outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series, Schitt’s Creek star opted for a black power suit and a slicked back ponytail.
Robin Thede
The creator of HBO’s A Black Lady Sketch Show — which is the first Black-female led series to be nominated as best variety show in Emmy history — wore an ochre gown by Christian Siriano to mark the occasion.
H.E.R
Singer-songwriter H.E.R (real name Gabriella Wilson) wore a fuschia cheongsam-inspired ensemble by Vera Wang.
Jameela Jamil
The Good Place star and nominee chose to take advantage of the at-home awards ceremony, posting a snap of herself wearing pyjamas with a multi-coloured robe to Instagram.
Regina King
If Beale Street Could Talk star Regina King opted for a sculptural cerulean gown by Schiaparelli.
Tracee Ellis Ross
Black-ish star and Emmy nominee Tracee Ellis Ross created her own red carpet, and chose a metallic gown by Alexandre Vauthier, Jimmy Choo shows and vintage Tiffany & Co. jewels to mark the occasion.
Jennifer Aniston
Nominated for her role on Morning Wars, Jennifer Aniston attended the 2020 Emmy Awards in a simple black column dress and strappy stilettos.
Reese Witherspoon
Celebrating the 2020 Emmy Awards from her lawn, Little Fires Everywhere nominee Reese Witherspoon donned a simple Louis Vuitton dress and finished her look with a red lip and soft waves.
