Dior held its Couture 2019 show in Paris this morning, sending models walking down the runway in ethereal gowns rivalling that of Valentino.
Taking inspiration from Elisabetta Orsiniโs book, โAtelier: Places of Thought and Creation,โ designer Maria Grazia Chiuri transformed the Musรฉe Rodin into a cube, featuring white tailored garments stretched from floor to ceiling.
The runway seemed to purposely lack a breakout โWe Should All Be Feministsโ moment, in favour of focusing peopleโs attention solely on the craftsmanship of couture.
The result? A slew of beautiful, pastel gowns that wouldnโt look out of place floating up a wedding aisle.
