When you dress some of the world’s biggest names – think, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Shanina Shaik and Toni Collette – you’re bound to be on the pulse of what the style set are looking for when it comes to the next It thing. Stylist Dani Michelle has launched just that, a capsule collection of wardrobe staples with LA-based, sustainable label Aya Muse.
The pieces were launched as part of the Fall 2020 collection, which includes everything from sheer bike shorts to wool-blend blazers and a pair of perfectly tailored white pants (which have already sold out). It’s clear both Michelle and Tina Rodiou, the design brains behind Aya Muse, share a synonymous vision of minimal and can-be-worn-with-anything pieces easily slotted into a modern woman’s wardrobe.
In short: the inspiration was “wearable, necessary, classics”, with pieces evolved from Michelle’s favourite fits in neutral tones, all made with high-quality fabrics sourced from Italy.
“My favourite piece is the turtleneck dress, it’s a forever look with an insanely perfect fit,” Michelle says. “The white dress shirt every woman needs. I can’t wait to get the white loose fit trousers, they are incredible. Oh, and I can’t forget the split long sleeves. So cool. I’ll wear everything!”
