Shopping for heels can be super painful, especially when all you want is a pair that will see you through the work day and not leave you in agony. So when you find a pair that don’t kill your feet but still look good, it’s basically a gift sent from above.
New York-based brand Margaux has done just that, crafting a simple, everyday heel that can go from work to dinner — and are comfortable enough to walk there, probably.
So popular was their design that the original shoe, called ‘The Heel’ had a 1,000-person wait list. Now, they’ve just released a new colour and we’re obsessed.
Featuring a soft cushion, a low heel and a simple suede exterior (which comes in eight colours, including a leopard print), The Heel retails for $415, which is quite the investment — but worth every penny, according to the reviews.
With 69 near-perfect ratings, The Heel has become a hit with Manhattan women, many of which specifically mention how comfortable the shoe is in their review. “I survived a 14 hour day running around for my boyfriend’s sister’s wedding without a single blister, cut, irritated spots, or pain,” one reviewer wrote.
“I have to say after turning 30 it’s rare I slip into a heel, but this one has got me back in the game. It’s a classic that can dress of a pair of pants or fit with any dress or skirt! Super comfortable and easy to walk around in!” another read.
Stuck in heels that don’t fit? We definitely don’t have time for that — and it looks like we’ve just found our new favourite fit. Add to cart!
