No, it’s not the Crazy Horse, it’s the Louboutin Autumn/Winter 2024 showcase.

On Monday, March 4th, the Loubi Show unfolded at the iconic Le Trianon in Paris’ vibrant Pigalle neighborhood. This district, renowned for its vibrant neon lights, lively ambiance, and iconic Moulin Rouge, held a deep significance in Monsieur Louboutin’s formative years, serving as a wellspring of inspiration for the esteemed designer.

True to Christian Louboutin‘s distinctive aesthetic, the show transcended conventionality, emerging as a fantastical tribute to dance and music, encapsulating the designer’s affinity for the theatrical.

As the auditorium descended into darkness, the stage illuminated with the graceful movements of twelve dancers from ‘La Marche Bleue,’ a dance collective established by choreographer Léo Walk.

With effortless fluidity, they showcased the maison’s exquisite craftsmanship adorned in crystal-studded MJ Moc Loafers and innovative renditions of the beloved Miss Sabina sandals, adding a mesmerising dimension to the spectacle.

Elevating the sensory journey, the ethereal sounds of French synth-pop duo Agar Agar echoed throughout the venue, weaving seamlessly against a meticulously curated backdrop envisioned by the renowned French-American visual artist Jan Melka.

The remainder of the collection was displayed in a gallery at Le Trianon, featuring an eclectic blend of vibrant sequins, and vibrant footwear in eye-catching hues of pink, yellow and baby blue.

Reiterating the unmistakable influence of the wild west this season, cowboy boots—both tall and short—were a highlight of the collection, adorned with intricate beaded embroidery depicting scenes of rodeos and blooming florals.

Among the guests in attendance was Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan alongside singer Seungkwan Boo, actors Zoey Deutch, Yara Shahidi,  as well as models Sabrina Elba and Barbara Palvin.
