Chanel’s new Coco Beach 2024 campaign has introduced us to the new swimsuits of the season.
From a baby pink sporty two-piece styled with a matching bucket hat to a glamorous asymmetrical piece designed for lounging in the Mediterranean like Chanel model Olivia Vinten, the collection captures the art de vivre spirit of summer.
Presented to us in a series of romantic postcard-like images shot by photographer Cass Bird, the campaign sees Vinten beside colourful cabins, lounging alongside little fishing boats and taking dips in turquoise-coloured pools.
Soft summer pastels are a focus for the collection—a two-toned stripy one-piece styled with matching denim shorts and a peach bikini nodding to sailor tops worn by Gabrielle Chanel stand out.
However, darker colours are still embraced with a cool black and white zip up jacket styled with white openwork cotton jersey shorts and and black and pink dark trousers thrown over a striped bikini.
Accessories are bold and fun, with earrings, necklaces and cuff bracelets boasting big gold double Cs. Oversized striped beach towels and beach bags complement the summery looks.
Inviting us to escape somewhere warmer, the collection has us dreaming of a European summer.
