Hollywood’s most famous faces are coming together for racial equality by wearing matching T-shirts for a powerful cause. From Kerry Washington to Laura Harrier, celebrities have rallied together to raise funds and awareness to fight against police brutality and racial injustice.
The infamous T-shirt, that reads “Phenomenally Black”, was created by brand Phenomenal and has been shared all over Instagram by a plethora of celebrities wearing the piece of clothing, alongside a message of support.
In a statement on their Instagram, Phenomenal said: “Millions of protesters across the country are speaking out against anti-black racism and police violence.”
“But we still have a lot of work to do, and we can’t let up. So keep going. Continue fighting for our Phenomenally Black community until there’s full accountability.”
All proceeds from the t-shirt will go straight to the Black Futures Lab, a non-profit organisation that was founded by Alicia Garza, a co-founder of Black Lives Matter. The Black Futures Lab aims to amplify political power locally, statewide and nationally, for the Black community.
