It’s serving French Riviera realness.
After a glamorous 2021 edition, (hello Bella Hadid’s haute couture Schiaparelli trompe l’œil lung necklace), the Cannes Film Festival is back for another year.
Of course, with the French film festivities synonymous with high-class glamour and lavish luxury, it’s often easy to see why the actual films themselves are overlooked, in favour for the custom designs and celebrity star power that grace the red carpet.
This year, we will see over 21 feature films compete for the Palme d’Or at the 75th annual festival, with other additions including Baz Luhrmann’s highly-anticipated Elvis and a plethora of chilling dramas starring Hollywood favourites like Michelle Williams, Léa Seydoux, Margaret Qualley and more.
While the winner of the festival will be announced until May 28, us fashion fans are able to bask in the sartorial splendour of our favourite members of the celebrity style set ascending the steps infamous red Palais des Festivals.
