This time last year, the headlines were about a pregnant Meghan Markle surprising everyone when she took to the stage to present her friend, Givenchy artistic director Clare Waight Keller, with an award at the British Fashion Awards.
The 2019 event, one of the biggest nights on the fashion calendar, has kicked off and while there’s no official royal sightings yet, US music royalty Rihanna and rom-com royalty Julia Roberts are in attendance, making the red carpet one of the most interesting in recent years.
