It seems we’ve reached peak activewear obsession as Belgian label A.F. Vandervorst debuted their latest bridal collection during Milan Fashion Week, featuring none other than bike shorts.
The models looked every bit the unconventional brides as they strode down the runway wearing 80’s style bridal tops (puff-sleeves and all) over white spandex gym shorts.
While we adore quirky fashion forward attire, we can’t help but raise an eyebrow at the thought of a bride rocking white bike shorts on her big day.
Bike shorts have enjoyed a rather unexpected run in the fashion world lately, as models like Bella Hadid frequently rock the spandex bottoms whether she’s going grocery shopping or attending flashy events.
You can consider us officially leaning away from the slightly bonkers bridal bike shorts trend (unless you happen to be a supermodel, to which we say go forth).
