A Brand Has Released An $800 Pair Of Crotchless Jeans

The latest in denim monstrosities

While you may have just wrapped your head around the idea of these Vetements jeans, there is a new denim monstrosity on the rise.

The latest in completely impractical jeans comes from French clothing brand Y/Project. A favourite of Gigi Hadid, this style may be the most daring/ridiculous so far.

Dubbed the โ€˜detachable button down pants,โ€™ these babies consist of nothing more than two denim trouser legs attached to the waist belt by suspenders.

Despite the lack of material, this jean/belt hybrid will set you nearly $800 on fwrd.com

Y/Project is a Parisian brand, long known for their out there designs. And while theyโ€™re somewhat practical for bathroom emergencies, exposing your bare bum is a little too #fashun for us to handle.

The brand already counts Gigi Hadid among its fans, with the model spotted wearing a pair of detachable white jeans to a magazine launch.

This pair, albeit a little more wearable, fasten together just below the crotch, leaving a flash of skin on display at all times.
