Blake Lively may not be reigning over the Cannes Film Festival red carpet this year (yes, we’re as depressed about that as you), but the actress did step out for the American Ballet Theatre’s Spring Gala last night in NYC.
Wearing a neon yellow Oscar De La Renta gown from the house’s autumn/winter 2017 collection, Blake looked incredible in the bright yellow strapless design.
While we’d like to think we too could pull off a highlighter hue, it helps that the 29-year-old has perfectly bronzed skin and also, you know, the face of an angel.
Blake accessorised her look with gold open toe heels and a loose ponytail, giving off serious Serena van der Woodsen vibes.
Katie Holmes, who brought her niece as her date, also chose a bright, strapless number for the evening, in a red Zac Posen gown.
