We all enjoy the occasional voyage into so-bad-itโs-good reality TV or cheesy rom-coms, but sometimes you need a little substance and a little style.
For the fashion lovers amongst us, there can be no better way to indulge your sartorial side than by tuning in to a gripping film in which the costumes just so happen to be incredibly chic.
Whether drama or comedy is more your speed, thereโs a well-heeled film on Netflix for you.
Below, we break down the eight most fashionable movies on the streaming service.

Gaga: Five Foot Two
While not technically a film about fashion, thereโs no disputing that Lady Gaga is a modern style queen, whether sheโs in denim cut-offs rehearsing, or attending the Oscars in a couture gown. From her red carpet looks to her extravagant on-stage costumes, get a glimpse behind the curtain of Gagaโs glamorous life, for a sobering, honest portrait of the music star we know and love.

Clueless
The epitome of โ90s dressing, popular girl Cher Horowitz and her posse are a treasure trove of outfit inspiration for current-day fashionistas. From her thigh-high socks to her plaid two-sets and that memorable red dress, Alicia Silverstoneโs costumes continue to dictate trends to this day.

Grace Of Monaco
While it didnโt exactly get glowing reviews, Nicole Kidmanโs portrayal of eternal icon Grace Kelly, Princess of Monaco, was possibly one of the most elegant on-screen turns in recent memory. While it may not stand up as a biopic (youโll have to Google the controversy yourself), it certainly makes for a stunning visual spectacle.

House of Z
If youโve ever marvelled at designer Zac Posenโs sculptural gowns at a Met Gala or an Academy Awards, youโll likely love to immerse yourself in this documentary charting his rise, fall and comeback through both archival footage and exclusive interviews. A rare insight into the brilliant mind of one of the industryโs brightest stars.

Jackie
Although a decidedly tragic film of Jackie Kennedy grieving her late husband after his assassination, this Oscar-nominated film also pays tribute to the U.S. First Ladyโs game-changing dress sense.

Cafรฉ Society
Woody Allenโs portrait of 1930s Hollywood has a stellar cast (Kristen Stewart, Blake Lively and Steve Carell, to name a few) but it also boasts costumes that are a respectful nod to that eraโs playful style. From Stewart in cropped shirts and pencil with a chin-length bob, to Lively as a full-blown screen siren in a glimmering gold evening dress, there are plenty of fashion moments to enjoy.

Allied
This spy movie set during World War Two might seem likely an unlikely source of fashion wisdom if not for the ever-elegant Marion Cotillard. In her role as double-dealing operative, Cotillard dons floor-length silk gowns, tailored linen suits and delicate retro slip dresses. Itโs almost enough to distract you from the gripping action (and her co-star Brad Pitt, of course).

Sex and the City: The Movie
A film so unapologetic about its love for fashion that the clothing is practically the fifth lead character, the first SATC film allowed legendary stylist Patricia Field to really flex her creative muscle. And flex she did. Who could ever forget Carrie Bradshawโs wedding dress montage? Iconic.
