One of the best things about awards season (apart from, you know, actually celebrating the incredible talent in Hollywood) is watching the red carpet fashion play out—in all its different forms.
In LA, there’s the glamorous SAGs, the boundary-testing Grammy’s and the pinnacle of all red carpets at the Oscars.
But the British Academy Film Awards bring a different side to red carpet fashion—it’s the UK’s turn to shine. On Sunday, March 13, Britain’s best in the industry descended on London’s Royal Albert Hall in some of the best style we’ve seen all season.
There was Emma Watson’s rare appearance in a stunning black and white Oscar de la Renta tulle halter neck gown, Naomi Campbell is a stunning black velvet design and Lady Gaga’s sculpted green gown was the very definition of show stopping.
Of course, we can’t forget the big winners from the night, with The Power of the Dog taking home the top gongs for best picture and director. Will Smith took home Best Actor for his performance in King Richard and Joanna Scanlan won best actress for After Love.
But back to the fashion, keep scrolling as we look back at some of the most memorable red carpet looks from the evening.
