Given most of us spent the majority of 2020 in athleisure, youโ€™d be forgiven for thinking it might take some time for people to warm up when it comes to serving looks. But you only need to take in a few of the street style looks from day one to know that the fashion pack have returned as though the past twelve months were a mere figment of the imagination. Often, itโ€™s not just the runways you need to look to in order to gauge what weโ€™re going to be wearing. Street style is its own trend forecaster and if 2021 is anything to go by, weโ€™ll be feeling good and looking even better.

Whether itโ€™s sleek tailoring, bold silhouettes or monochrome styling, street style has been a particular early highlight this year at Australian Fashion Week. Here, weโ€™ve rounded up the looks that had us doing a double-take on the ground.
