Following banning photoshopping its models, ASOS just further cemented itself in our hearts by launching a new tool which allows people to see how the clothes will fit on different sizes.
After a Twitter user excitedly pointed out the new feature, ASOS shared the news along with a bit more detail: “We’re always testing new technology that can make our customers’ experience even better,” they wrote.
“In this case, we’re experimenting with AR (augmented reality) to show product on different size models, so customers can get a better sense of how something might fit their body shape.”
Naturally, customers were over the moon to see the change with many noting it would stop them returning items they thought would fit their shape after only seeing it on a sample size model.
Earlier this month, ASOS launched a new shopping tool which allows users to upload photos of an item they like and ASOS will find similar matches on the site.
Needless to say, we’re currently pretty darn impressed with the UK e-tailer.
Keep doing you, ASOS.
