Is This The Most Important Show At Fashion Week?

“For any girl or woman who has ever felt that they weren’t represented in fashion/TV/media because of your size-you are now and forever will be!"

Body activist and plus size icon Ashley Graham took to the runway to flaunt her killer curves for her new lingerie collection with Canadian retailer Addition Elle.

The collection was dominated by “sheer, creams, lace, bondage – we’ve got dog collars for the freaks at home,’ the brunette beauty joked in a Facebook live event.

While Graham, 27, said she “felt like Naomi Campbell on that runway” (and let’s be real she looked every bit the supermodel) she also admitted to feeling nervous prior to the show.

“I started speaking to myself and I do a lot of positive affirmations. That’s how I get my confidence back, and I believe a lot of people should do that.”

Graham took to Instagram today to share snaps from the show and a powerful message along with them.

“For any girl or woman who has ever felt that they weren’t represented in fashion/TV/media because of your size-you are now and forever will be! #beautybeyondsize”

Speaking at a TED talk last year Graham expressed the need for the universal embrace of body diversity as beauty paradigms continue to shift.

“I was never going to be perfect enough for an industry that defines perfection from the outside in, and that’s okay.”

So to celebrate and compliment fuller figured woman, Graham gathered a group of plus size models to showcase her collection including Sabrina Karlsson and Kylie Jenner’s best friend Jordyn Woods.

And they killed it!
