It was an epic finale episode of And Just Like That… season two—particularly when it came to the outfits.
Sex And The City has been setting the style tone for generations, so we’re keen to see
It’s also no secret that this episode brought the return of Samantha Jones to our screens—and what a treat it was.
Here are some of our picks for the episode’s best looks.
Warning: Spoilers and unaffordable designer items ahead!
Samantha Jones’ Fendi Purse
One of the conditions of Kim Cattrall’s And Just Like That cameo, was that she be dressed by the original Sex And The City stylist, Patricia Field.
And Pat delivered.
Samantha Jones is not afraid of being loud—literally and sartorially.
Firstly, there was the Samantha-esque metallic coat. This covered much of a form-fitting cherry red dress. Add some massive bling (did you clock that ring?!) and a designer bag.
It must have been tough choosing which designer bag Sam Jones would carry. The character’s love of bags was written into the script, with Sam having fake Fendi fiascos in LA and Hermes Birkin bothers in New York.
However, 2023 Samantha is carrying a lime green Fendi First Midi purse.
The eye-catching colour and geometric shape is *very* Samantha

Carrie Bradshaw’s Oscar De La Renta Party Dress
If you remember season six of Sex And The City, when the Russian buys Carrie her dream Oscar De La Renta pink cocktail dress, you’ll know Carrie and Oscar are always a perfect pair.
This episode, Carrie wears a black and silver chequered Oscar De La Renta cocktail dress to have dinner with her friends in her own apartment. And she looks fabulous!
The styling team paired it with Oscar de La Renta vintage beaded sleeves (yes, they are separate to the dress) and shoes by René Caovilla.
Miranda’s Wine Red & Orange Cocktail Dress
Miranda’s return to corporate life is doing wonders for her wardrobe. First the chic green suit, now this bold burgundy and orange number.
The dress itself is the Roksanda
And while this dress is sold out… Roksanda has a number of stunning and reasonably priced cocktail looks to shop in Australia here.
Lisa Todd Wexley’s Tropical Evening Gown
Lisa is known for her boundary-pushing, designer heavy style. This episode she donned a bright-and-beautiful design by Christopher John Rogers.
The dress features a groovin’ sixties floral pattern in red, yellow and neon orange.

The dress is paired with matching orange pumps and a range of jewels, including a statement gold cuff by South African jewellery designer Ana Srdic.
Seema’s Saint Laurent Beach Bag
It was hard to choose just one outfit from Seema this episode. She wore multiple negligees and a metallic Fendi party frock (Samantha Jones, who?) — but, ultimately, the beach look wins.
In particular, the eye is drawn to Seema’s accessories.
You would have found it hard to miss Seema’s vintage Kokin straw hat, which looked moments away from flying off her head in the gale-force beach winds.
Then there was another designer bag moment, featuring the Rive Gauche logo-embroidered raffia tote bag by Saint Laurent.

The rest of the look included a glam, burnt orange, fringed cape and a black one-piece swimsuit.
