If anyone was searching for glitz and glamour in Los Angeles over the weekend, suffice to say the Academy Museum Gala was where it all went down.
The who’s who of Hollywood came out in droves (and breathtaking dresses) to attend the second annual event in support of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. Honourees included our November cover star, Julia Roberts, who received the Icon Award in a breathtaking Thom Browne ensemble, while Tilda Swinton (wearing a unique black and white Schiaparelli gown) was also honoured with the Visionary Award.
Of course, they weren’t the only mega stars to line up on the white carpet. From Emma Stone, Keke Palmer and Lily Collins to Sophie Turner, Olivia Wilde and Selma Blair, the star power was comparable to that of a major awards event—Oscars 2.0, anyone?
Put together by the Gala’s creative director Lisa Love, a former fashion magazine editor, the event is quickly becoming one of the biggest celebrity soirees outside of awards season.
Below, we round up the most memorable looks from the night.
