When it comes to dating shows, Farmer Wants A Wife’s relationships might be some of the sweetest (and most successful) on TV. The show is not only responsible for multiple engagements and marriages but for many Farmer Wants A Wife babies as well.
This year saw five new farmers put themselves out there in search for love. While almost all of the farmers ended the show with a new relationship, how many budding romances continued once the cameras were switched off?
Below, we share which Farmer Wants A Wife couples are still together.
Farmer Brad And Clare
Farmer Brad is a 32-year-old mixed crop and cattle farmer from Cootamunda in New South Wales.
Out of the many women who competed for his heart, Brad chose to bring Natasha (a 23-year-old research scientist), Morgan (a 31-year-old high school teacher), Clare (a 27-year-old pre-school teacher) Corista (a 31-year-old public servant) and Christina (a 25-year-old registered nurse) back to the farm.
At the end of the season, Brad confessed his love to Clare telling her: “to think that I started this journey in the hope to fall in love with someone, and I am,” Farmer Brad said. “I’m falling in love with you, and I’m very excited about what the future has in store for us. So if you wanna give this a go, and give this crazy world a try, I’d love to see where we can end up.”
Clare felt the same as Brad, responding with: “I have fallen so in love with you Brad.”
Since filming ended, the couple have been going strong, revealing to New Idea that they (along with Clare’s two dogs and four horses) have been living together on the farm for three months.
Clare and Brad also told the outlet that it didn’t take Clare long to find a job at a local primary school, and that they have already started thinking about kids.
“Whenever it happens, it happens,” Brad says. “We’ll start with one and see how we handle that I suppose!”
“I haven’t really thought about the numbers,” Clare added.
The couple clearly didn’t waste any time because not long after, Brad and Clare revealed they were expecting a baby. While we don’t know the exact due date, Clare has shown off her growing bump on Instagram.
Farmer Brenton and Sophie
Farmer Brenton is a 26-year-old sheep farmer from Victoria, who brought Breanna (a 26-year-old town planning administrator), Sophie (a 25-year-old social media manager), Frankie (a 23-year-old HR manager), Rachel (a 22-year-old promotions assistant) and Emily (an Indigenous health worker) back to the farm.
In the end, Farmer Brenton chose Sophie, telling her: “You’re the most beautiful girl I’ve ever met, Soph. I think I’m falling in love with you. That’s all I can say!”
Not long after, Sophie packed up her things and relocated to the farm full-time—but unfortunately the couple’s love story ended there.
Taking to Instagram in August 2023, Sophie announced the couple’s split, writing:“It’s a disappointing ending, but I’ve learned a lot about myself and my values.”
“I wish Brenton all the best and want to thank everyone for their support, especially my family and friends.”
Farmer Matt
At just 23, Farmer Matt was the youngest farmer of the season.
The fifth-generation sheep and cattle farmer chose to bring Alice (a 22-year old teaching assistant), Chelsea (a 22-year-old marketing assistant), Madison (a 22-year-old professional equestrian), Annabella (a 22-year-old hospitality team leader) and Olivia (a 24-year-old administration officer) back to the farm, but when it came to the final competition, Matt chose Olivia.
“I think I’ve known for a while that I have fallen in love with you, and I’m really glad I finally get to say it,” Matt told her.
Since filming ended, the couple have left the farm and moved to Canberra for Matt’s job with the Department of Agriculture.
Recently, Olivia gave a sweet update about the couple’s life on Instagram, writing: “One year ago I was giggling with my friends about potentially going on TV to hopefully meet my life human…”
“I thank the stars every day for letting us find each other (even if it was via the most chaotic of ways).
“I love how devoted you are, I love how patient you are…I just love you.”
Farmer Andrew
Farmer Andrew is a 41-year-old mixed crop and sheep farmer from New South Wales, who brought Kelley (a 44-year-old dog trainer), Claire (a 37-year-old mine truck driver), Jessie (a 36-year-old creative consultant), Maddison (a 30-year-old restaurant owner) and Lucie (a 36-year-old nurse) back to the farm.
However, unlike the other farmers, Farmer Andrew didn’t wait until the final decision to choose his favourite—he decided on Claire before the end of the season.
During the reunion episode, Claire admitted, “The way that he makes me feel is like I’ve never felt before. There’s nothing I don’t love about you.”
Since then, Claire has been updating fans with cute pictures of the couple’s life on the farm.
Farmer David
Farmer David is a 29-year-old apple farmer from Queensland.
He’s brought Elle (a 29-year-old recruitment manager), Emma (a 29-year-old marketing director), Emily (a 26-year-old special education aide), Leah (a 27-year-old paediatric nurse) and Lorelai (a 26-year-old marketing coordinator) back to the farm.
When it came to the final decision, Farmer David chose Emily.
Since then, Emily revealed to 7Life that the couple are still together.
“Everything has just gone really well,” Emily said. “I went home for a week or so [after filming] and then after that, I started moving my things and I moved here [to David’s farm] in early January.”
Since then, David and Emily have kept their fans updated on their life together through Instagram.
