Last Thursday evening, thousands of shoppers descended to James Street in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley for the 7th annual marie claire Up Late shopping night. The streets came to life with lights, DJs, performances and in-store activations from Aje, Assembly Label, Camilla, David Jones, Lee Mathews, Natasha Schweitzer, Sass & Bide, Scanlan Theodore, Zimmermann and more.
Designers were out in full force including Damien Horan from Assembly Label, Gail Sorronda and Natasha & Alex Chipman from Natasha Schweitzer as well as Edwina Robinson and Adrian Norris from Aje.
This year, we launched for the first time the marie claire hub, a pop-up shop for one night only that included an activation from The Daily edited, fashion installations from David Jones and Silk Laundry, touch-ups from M.A.C Cosmetics and beauty advice and sampling from Endota Spa. Guests could relax in the Click On Furniture lounge, enjoy R&B from Bang & Olufsen, enjoy drinks from San Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, sweet treats and a grazing station and the chance to chat with the marie claire team.
The first 1000 visitors were treated to an exclusive marie claire gift bag.
