Is there anything Delta Goodrem can’t do? The multi-award winning singer, songwriter, and stalwart of Australian television has today added one more feather to her ever-growing cap: becoming the first-ever Australian ambassador for global beauty megabrand Revlon.
She joins a list of iconic, trailblazing women who embody Revlon’s Live Boldly philosophy, which has included Gal Gadot, Adwoa Aboah, and Ashley Graham.
“Living boldly is really how I approach my life,” Goodrem, who turned 37 in November, exclusively told marie claire Australia.
“Revlon has always stood for women’s individual power and strength, supporting everyone’s unique beauty and brilliance. To live fully, freely and with purpose – whatever that looks like to them. They are trailblazers in their field, and it just feels like the perfect timing to align.”
Goodrem has been a familiar face to Australians for almost two decades, finding her way into our lives and television screens as 16-year-old Nina Tucker on Neighbours. Since then, she’s released nine number-one singles, sold over eight million albums globally, and won more awards than you could fit on a shelf. In recent years, she’s shined—sometimes literally—as a coach on The Voice Australia.
“I’ve lived my entire life on camera,” she told marie claire Australia. “Makeup has always been an important part of that creativity, showing the different expressions of ourselves.”
As part of her ambassadorship, Goodrem will feature in a Revlon campaign that celebrates the Live Boldly philosophy.
“I’ve been proud of being my authentic self the whole way through my career,” she said. “Living boldly is how I want to approach my life and, for now, first and foremost, that means getting back on stage and doing live music.”
When it came to choosing Revlon’s first ever Australian brand ambassador, Goodrem was a natural fit.
“Revlon was founded with the mission to create a more liberated beauty,” general manager Kaitlin Rady said. “One that embodied action, independence, inspiration and purpose. For us, Delta Goodrem is the essence of that sentiment: she has always been a trailblazer and a woman who understands the beauty of knowing her own voice. We are honoured to name her as Revlon’s first Australian Brand Ambassador.”
