Sunday night’s Married At First Sight episode saw this year’s sixth commitment ceremony, and the eight remaining couples sat in front of the experts to decide whether they wanted to continue on.
Cyrell, who had an outburst at the dinner party earlier in the week, had the most stunning revelation that has captured the hearts of viewers. Both Nic and Cyrell decided to leave the experiment, but before doing so she expertly said: “I didn’t find love on this experiment, but I’ll tell you one thing, I’ve never loved myself more than I do right now.”
It was Jessika and Mick’s session that was the main event, though. Jessika tells the experts that she feels like after a nice homestay, Mick is back to hating her, and that leaves a “bad taste in her mouth.” Cyrell speaks up, explaining that she got angry at the dinner party because she heard Jess say she wanted to sleep with Dan.
“What do I owe any of you?” she asks. “Honesty, respect,” answers Mike. “Unfortunately with Jess you can catalogue a history of dishonesty from day one. We’ve all seen it and it’s a shame because she has got a sweet side but we don’t see much of it.”
After an attack from the group, the experts call for the decision. “Three weeks in a row, I don’t want to waste a further minute,” says Mick, showing the room his ‘leave’ card. Jess says she’s staying and Mick literally yells, “WHY”.
