Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons Have Reportedly Walked Down The Aisle And Said “I Do”

Long-awaited nuptials.

In much-needed wholesome news, Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons, AKA one of Hollywood’s most under-the-radar couples, have finally tied the knot.

Celebrating with a sweet ceremony last weekend, Dunst and Plemons reportedly got married at the GoldenEye luxury resort near Ocho Rios, Jamaica, as per Page Six. Their nuptials come after spending the last six years together and even welcoming two children as a couple.

The happy news was confirmed by a representative for Dunst to People magazine, sharing the venue but firmly stating that “no other details will be provided”.

The 40-year-old Bring It On alum previously shared with the Los Angeles Times that she and her Power Of The Dog co-star already “call each other husband and wife“, but explained that they were yet to be married, and hadn’t even planned the wedding despite being engaged.

“We have to get married at this point. It’s ridiculous. We just haven’t planned a wedding,” she said back in February, explaining that the pandemic and their second pregnancy delayed her walk down the aisle.

“I didn’t want to be pregnant, get married, have a party and not be able to have fun with everybody,” she explained.

Dunst and Plemons first began dating in 2016 after they met on season two of Fargo, where they played a married couple. Back in January 2017, news broke that the pair were engaged, when she was spotted wearing an engagement ring while attending that year’s Golden Globe Awards.

Since then, the couple have welcomed two sons, four-year-old Ennis Howard and 14-month-old James Robert. In fact, the couple previously spoke about their sons on the red carpet of the 94th Academy Awards, where they were both nominated as Supporting Actors for The Power Of The Dog.

“They’re in Atlanta right now because that’s where I’m working, and they’re at a toddler Oscars party,” Dunst shared, adding, “So, the girls next door invited them over, and so they’re all representing us there”.

“They’re all wearing red, it’s close to this colour, not quite,” Plemons explained, point to Dunst’s vintage crimson strapless gown by Christian Lacroix.

When talking about their nominations for the night, Dunst shared that she was more excited for her partner’s chance at winning, over her own.

“I was actually more, weirdly, excited for Jesse. I screamed,” she admitted. “To be nominated together is the craziest thing. We just feel so lucky. We already won, you know?”

However, The Power Of The Dog is hardly their first time sharing the screen. The pair have both turned up in episodes of Black Mirror and Drunk History, as well as Netflix’s latest movie Windfall.

“I don’t wanna do another project without [Kirsten]. It’s just the best,” Plemons revealed to People magazine, back in December. “We fell in love creatively first on Fargo, just immediately trusted each other. I’m constantly amazed by what she brings. She just operates from such a deep place in her soul.”

Congratulations to the happy couple!
