Kate Middleton and Prince William’s Christmas cooking show, A Berry Royal Christmas, has finally been released with The Great British Baking Show‘s chef Mary Berry following the royal couple to various royal engagements and then cooking a bunch of delicious looking food for attendees.

Thanks to Masterchef and My Kitchen Rules, we’re well aware of how much drama can go down in the kitchen, but everything was going relatively well until the Duke of Cambridge attempted to touch his wife during a conversation.
In the clip, which has been shared to social media, William and Kate are sitting and talking with a group of people when William tries to touch Kate’s back and she instinctively shrugs him off by jerking her body away.

Of course, the reason behind Kate’s blow-off is likely just to do with royal protocol when it comes to PDA. Being filmed for a documentary that’s playing to the world isn’t the best time to slip up when it comes to the rules and the Duchess of Cambridge is ever the professional.
As someone on Twitter pointed out: “I think he tickled her back or shoulder, she did move but there were no dirty looks or even a facial reaction, it was not really long enough of a clip to really tell what was going on, but both seem to be in good humour.”
