While we impatiently await the beginning of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal tour of South Africa and all of the Archie Harrison appearances we’ll get, Ellen DeGeneres is here to fill the void with details about her meeting with the mini royal.
In a preview for an upcoming episode of her show, the comedian reveals that not only did she meet baby Archie when she was visiting the UK, but she held him and fed him too.
“I fed Archie, I held Archie,” she said in the preview clip. “He weighs 15 lbs., which is, the exchange rate, is 17 dollars here,” she joked.
After reports that Archie has red hair like his dad, Ellen confirmed that the five-month-old looks like the Duke of Sussex. “He looks like Harry — and he had more hair than I did at the time.”
In August, a source told PEOPLE that the little royal is a “happy baby” and that he “has lovely, puffy little legs and tufts of reddish hair. He’s really adorable.”
Ellen, who recently came to the couple’s defence after backlash over them flying private, continued to say the pair is “amazing. They are the cutest couple and so down-to-earth.”
“I see them get attacked and it’s not fair,” she continues. “They are just two of the most down-to-earth compassionate people, they’re doing so much good for the world.”
