Ring The Bell, ‘Selling Sunset’ Star Chrishell Stause Has Officially Gone Into Escrow On A New ‘Do

Sun-kissed blonde locks? Not anymore.

When it comes to Selling Sunset, there seems to an abundance of three things: luxurious houses, juicy drama and blonde hair.

And while Chrishell Stause certainly had all of the above, she’s now striking the latter off her list.

Attending the People’s Choice Awards on December 7, Stause not only dropped jaws in a stunning gown, but she was nearly unrecognisable, thanks to a fresh ‘do.

Bidding adieu to her signature honey blonde hair, she swapped out her trademark tresses for a delicious, chocolate brown hue.

Paired with a gorgeous scarlet gown, the actor-turned-real-estate agent‘s ensemble donned a high slit, low-cut necklace and V-shaped detailing down the centre. Along with her dress, she sported a pair of drop earrings and a pair of matching scarlet heels.

According to Us Weekly, Stause’s decision to completely transform her mane was a last minute choice, happening only hours before the awards. But sadly, her locks weren’t actually real, opting for a very convincing wig instead.

“We decided to change it up and go for something a little sultry and sexy and darker but still soft,” Bradley Leake, Stause’s hairstylist, told the publication.

As for what Stause thought of her new ‘do, well, she posted several carousels on Instagram clearly enamoured by her makeover.

“Needed a change,” Stause wrote under her first post, along with a dancing woman emoji.

Keeping her tresses as soft as possible, Stause opts for Gisou’s famous Honey Infused Hair Oil, applauding the product for its efficiency and long-lasting benefits.

“I feel like I’ve used every hair oil on the market, and this one really is worth the hype and the cost,” she said.“I do a lot of styling on my hair, and my ends can look really sad.

“This not only instantly helps the health of my hair—it looks better right away. The benefits are really twofold: You get instant gratification and then also long-term gratification.”

Well, there you have it. She may have earned her name as the honey-blonde bombshell of Sunset Boulevard, but now she’s joined the dark side. Perhaps it’s all a plan to distance herself from Christine Quinn as much as possible? We may never know.
