In a touching video shared by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s official Instagram account, their three children can be seen excitedly showing their support for the cause.
One-year-old Louis looks up to his older siblings in the clip before Charlotte, four, bursts into a fit of giggles.
The caption reads: “To all the doctors, nurses, carers, GPs, pharmacists, volunteers and other NHS staff working tirelessly to help those affected by #COVID19: thank you.”
People across the UK were encouraged to applaud the nation’s healthcare workers on March 26 at 8pm in a social media movement inspired by the likes of Italy and Spain – who have previously sung from their balconies in a show of community spirit.
In a goosebump-inducing wave of support, millions of people across the nation took to their gardens, windows and front doors to cheer for nurses, GPs and carers in a bid to show their “appreciation for their ongoing hard work and fight against this virus”.
