Those in the know have termed the technique tiger eye hair, named after the semi-precious stone with blazes of gold, bronze and mahogany. In hair terms, that translates to coppery or caramel highlights on a rich chestnut or chocolate base.
We first spotted the trend on Chrissy Teigen, J.Lo and Jessica Biel last month, and it seems we weren’t the only ones, with Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge and Jasmine Tookes all rocking variations of the technique.
