After launching their Shape Tape Contour Concealer in Australia last year, Tarte are now bringing their Face Tape Foundation to our shores.
The concealer instantly became a best-seller, with fans lining up outside Sephora trying to get their hands on the product. The product has earned cult-status due to its blendable, long-lasting formula, and we’re sure the foundation will quickly earn the same reputation.
The Face Tape Foundation is already well-loved by beauty fans overseas for its smooth texture and natural matte finish. The vegan foundation comes in 50 shades and five different undertones – beige, neutral, honey, sand and golden.
“At Tarte we take a bit of a more nuanced approach, so we have five undertones,” says Brian Granoff, Global Trainer at Tarte Cosmetics. “We recognise that most of the world has a warm undertone and we want to have the most inclusive shade range across all of our foundation formulas.”
The formula is also packed with useful ingredients including snow mushroom extract and hyaluronic acid, which help to hydrate and brighten the skin.
“All Tarte products have skin care built in,” says Granoff. “You’re going to get long-wear but you’re also going to get good-for-you ingredients with no icky or bad chemicals. This formula just gives you a one-two-punch to hydrate your skin and keep the foundation looking soft, smooth and hydrated all day long.”
