It’s no secret that travel takes a toll on our skin. When on holiday, many of us strip back our skincare routine, spend excessive time in the sun and take multiple long-haul flights, which can all lead to less-than-ideal complexions. With a month-long trip to Europe on the horizon, I’m currently on the hunt for the best travel-sized beauty heroes to stow away in my cosmetics bag. AKA, the radiant complexion I’m aspiring for on my European sojourn.
The formula also includes sea fennel extract to help enhance skin cell renewal, retinyl palmitate (a form of vitamin A) to support skin’s own natural collagen, plus botanicals and essential fatty acids such as vitamin E to boost moisture and reduce the appearance of fine lines.
The Results From marie claire’s Ceramide Capsule Trial
For one week, I applied the serum to my cleansed skin in the morning and at night. To open, I twisted the tab around twice, then squeezed the serum onto my fingertips and gently smoothed it onto my face and neck. On initial application, what I loved was how lightweight and silky the formulation felt as it glided on, instantly smoothing fine lines. I also noticed a new brightness and sheen to my complexion, which gave me a long-lasting ‘just-had-10-hours-of-sleep’ glow.
