During Dior‘s Raf Simons era in 2015, Rihanna starred in the Dior Secret Garden advertising campaign, shot in the Palace of Versailles in France. Now, the singer and beauty mogul has reclaimed her crown, reigniting her relationship with the iconic fashion house after ten years as the face of J’Adore perfume.
Rumours about Rihanna’s potential return to the brand – which has taken the form of being the new face of the iconic J’as the new face of J’Adore fragrance has been hotly anticipated, with rumours beginning to swirl at the brand’s Fall 2022 ready-to-wear shows and Spring 2024 Haute couture show.
The J’Adore Dior campaign has now been released. Rihanna appears draped in the fragrance’s signature gold shade with champagne locks spilling goddess style across her shoulders. The dream-like campaign, directed by Steven Klein, was shot at the Palace Versailles in France, again, with the singer walking the halls to her 2016 single Love On The Brain.
According to the press release, the campaign is both a “metamorphosis and a coronation, a fusional encounter between a pop idol and a legendary perfume.”
Rihanna is the first new face of J’adore perfume in 20 years, replacing Dior muse Charlize Theron. Feast your eyes on the campaign below.
