Rebecca Judd, TV host, author and model, shares her beauty fixes and how she juggles her hair and make-up routine on the run.
When it comes to my hair, I’m pretty low-maintenance. I get a colour and trim every six weeks and after I wash my hair, I tong it into loose waves. I usually get about four days out of my hair before I need to wash it again. I spray Klorane Dry Shampoo [Judd is the brand’s ambassador] on the roots every morning to absorb the oil. I re-tong the front if I need to. My hair actually looks its best about two or three days after my last wash. When I’m off duty, I simply tie my hair into a topknot or high pony. Easy.
I use medical-grade cosmeceutical skincare, The Skincare Company [which Judd is brand ambassador for]. It has lots of active ingredients in a range of serums.
My number one beauty tip is always use sunscreen and never tan your face.
My favourite evening make-up look is smoky chocolate eyes, loads of lashes, bronzed cheeks with peach on the apples, a nudey-peach lip colour and a glowy highlighter like Becca’s on cheekbones.
During the day, I use concealer and mineral powder foundation by The Face by The Skincare Company.
I’ll use an eyebrow pencil in blonde (I go light so it’s not as obvious that you’ve drawn your eyebrows on) and a bronzer to add a bit of colour. It’s a great, quick day face. I’ll spray some Chloé Eau de Parfum too. It’s so fresh.
I always have Lanolips lip balm in my make-up bag.
I have four kids, so I’m more of a DIY kinda girl. But I do get Spray Aus spray tans for events, as they come to my home. I don’t do a lot to unwind either, but I do like to burn Diptyque candles in Baies.
