Itโs quite rare these days for a royal portrait to be released without the purpose of celebrating an engagement, birthday or milestone. And with Kate Middleton often behind the camera for her family, even rarer for it to appear from an external magazine shoot.
But a never-before-seen black and white portrait of Princess Beatrice was recently shared by photographer Phil Poynter, along with an abstract image of the princessโs lips.
The photographs come from a shoot her royal highness did for Chaos Sixty Nine magazine, of which the lips made the cover and the portrait included within. The portrait of the princess is breathtakingly beautiful as she sits for the camera with a voluminous blow-dry, glossy lips and her captivating eyes dressed in lashings of mascara.
โAs part of the Chaos SixtyNine Lips cover with @patmcgrathreal, HRH Princess Beatrice of York was kind enough to sit for a personal portrait session. Hereโs the resultโฆ Stunning!โ wrote Poynter, alongside the image.
In contrast, the cover image appears in full-blown colour, showing nothing but the princessโs lips, coated in a vibrant, sparkling red pigment courtesy of Pat McGrath Labs.
The royals have always been big supporters of British-owned beauty brands, with Meghan citing Wild Bluebell by Jo Malone ($140, jomalone.com.au) as one of her favourite fragrances, while Kate chose White Gardenia Petals by Illuminum for her wedding day.
Princess Beatrice is said to be a fan of Charlotte Tilburyโs Full Fat Lashes Mascara ($48, charlottetilbury.com/au), as well as Pat McGrathโs much-loved lip colours (available at Sephora).
