The 2018 Academy Awards is in full swing, and if you tear your eyes away from the stage long enough, you’ll see the all the stars glammed up with some of the most best hair and makeup we’ve seen all awards season. From Jennifer Lawrence’s mass of blonde curls (reminder: perms are back!) to Zendaya’s glossy nude lip, these are the looks we’re loving.
Margot Robbie
Margot hit the Oscars red carpet with a brand new bob haircut. Makeup artist Pati Dubroff used Chanel Rouge Coco 432 Cecile and Poudre Lumiere 10 in Ivory Gold for her pretty pale pink look, with subtle silver eyes complementing her divine Chanel gown.
Emma Stone
Emma opted for the triple pink trend, with lips, cheeks and lids awash with NARS new Wanted powder blush palette. Navy blue eyeliner was an unexpected touch, care of Emma’s long-time makeup artist Rachel Goodwin.
Jennifer Lawrence
Jennifer Lawrence is loving her natural curls at the moment – first at the Red Sparrow premiere, and now at the Oscars. Dyed a creamy shade of blonde, her hair (by Jenny Cho) was the main attraction, together with a dramatic winged eye and ‘90s-esque terracotta lip – the work of Victoria’s Secret Angel favourite, makeup artist Hung Van Ngo.
Zendaya
With her hair pulled back into a slick topknot, Zendaya’s Oscars beauty look was all about bold brows, a sultry smoky eye and glossy nude lip: perfection.
Emily Blunt
Emily Blunt took a turn for the whimsical at the Academy Awards, with a raked-back romantic updo and soft, pretty makeup. The highlight? Her natural rosy pink lip.
Nicole Kidman
Nicole’s fire engine red lip pops against her lustrous cobalt blue Armani Privé gown, a classic look complemented by her poker-straight hair, which she wore with a centre part.
Lupita Nyong’o
Lupita Nyong’o’s Oscars beauty was all about the surprise factor: metallic blue lids providing a jolt of colour against her glittering gold gown and glowing makeup. We love the updo threaded with gold.
