Ever since her Hollywood career began, Margot Robbie has never played it safe when it comes to her red carpet beauty. From debuting brunette hair in Saint Laurent at her first-ever Academy Awards to Old Hollywood glamour at the premiere of Once Upon A Time, the Australian actress never fails to turn heads.
Appearing at the 93rd Annual Academy Awards, held at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre on April 26, Robbie used the occasion to debut a brand new look: caramel-coloured locks and a feathered fringe, courtesy of her go-to hairstylist Bryce Scarlett.
Taking to Instagram prior to the ceremony, Scarlett revealed he used GHD products to achieve the bold look.
Robbie’s beauty look was created by Pati Dubroff, who complimented her Chanel dress with soft, pink cheeks and matching pink lip and fluttery lashes, all executed using Chanel Beauty. “All about a bronzey sunshine glow,” Dubroff wrote.
The actress has proved to be a master of no-makeup makeup, with a radiant complexion usually the centrepiece of all her red carpet glamour.
Dubroff, who has become known for such looks, is a big believer in the “less is more” approach to beauty, as evidenced by her and Robbie’s collaborations in recent years.
The celebrity makeup artist has previously explained how she gets the perfect pink lips on Robbie.
“I prefer to use] a soft pink [lipstick] with a pink pencil [layered beneath] for light definition,” she said. “[For liner], I use a very cool almost taupe pink nude [colour] since I [generally] want a cool icy feeling [and then I finish by dabbing on a sheer blush pink lip shade.”
