How to get Kate Middleton’s skin? All it takes is Nutella, apparently

Another day, another wacky beauty revelation… only this time, the Duchess of Cambridge is involved.

At least, it seemed that way. On UK talk show This Morning, facialist and Heavenskincare founder Deborah Mitchell appeared as a guest for a ‘royal beauty’ segment in which she showed viewers how to get Kate’s BAFTAS glow.

Introduced as ‘the beauty therapist to the Duchess of Cambridge,” Mitchell proceeded to spread Nutella – yes, you read that right – all over a model’s face.

“Now I’ve actually used this at home, and I’ve actually used this on some of my clients – not naming any names!” she says with a grin.

Cue the internet running wild with the idea that Kate Middleton smothers Nutella over her skin – except for the fact that, sadly, she doesn’t.

Kensington Palace has denied that Kate is even a client of Deborah Mitchell, the Daily Mail reports.

And now, Mitchell has clarified the point, telling MailOnline, “I have never claimed the Duchess of Cambridge has been a client,” (although for the record, she has worked with Gwyneth Paltrow and Dannii Minogue).

While undoubtedly delicious by the spoonful on toast, we’d question the use of Nutella as a face mask due to its high palm oil content. Royal stamp of approval or not, we’ll be sticking to skin saviours of the sheet, foil and charcoal variety.
