At just 14, Lila Grace Moss has mostly managed to avoid the spotlight, but that’s all set to change. The daughter of Kate Moss and Jefferson Hack has just scored her first ad campaign, for UK brand Braid Bar.
Moss appears in Braid Bar’s Summer 2017 campaign, wearing rainbow braids (of course) and starring alongside more celebrity spawn – Mick Jones’ daughter, Stella.
The timing is fitting: Kate Moss was discovered at the same age, when she was walking through New York’s JFK airport with her father. Her daughter Lila is signed with the eponymous agency Mum founded last year, Kate Moss Modelling.

But Moss Junior’s rise to fame isn’t without its critics: Braid Bar is being slammed for the lack of diversity in its ad campaigns, to the point where it has issued a formal apology.
“It has come to our attention that we have not given enough consideration to the cultures that we have drawn from in creating The Braid Bar, particularly Black culture,” the statement reads. “We would like to reach and apologise to all those who have been offended by our lack of cultural sensitivity, and promise that from this point onwards, you will see changes in the way that we do things.”
Sounds like Lila Rose might not make the cut for their next campaign.
