Over the years, Kate Middleton’s perfectly tousled waves have become her signature when it comes to her go-to beauty. Every engagement sees the Duchess of Cambridge’s effortless blowout styled flawlessly, but even she is using isolation to give her hair a new look.
For her latest Zoom call, Kate swapped out her signature voluminous waves for a chic, straightened look. Chatting to representatives from three different children hospice patronages, the royal mum-of-three coupled her new hairstyle with an emerald-green boatneck dress and brown eyeshadow. She also opted for a side part rather than her traditional centre part.
Kate joined the video chat with Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, to coincide with Children’s Hospice Week, currently taking place in the UK.
While Kate has been isolating with Prince William and their three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis – at the family’s Amner Hall home in Norfolk, she did make her first post-isolation appearance last week.
The royal visited the Fakenham Garden Centre in Norfolk, where she swapped out her usual glam in favour of a more casual look, wearing a blue button-down underneath a quilted vest by Fjallraven, skinny jeans, and Superga sneakers. She accessorised with emerald drop earrings, and pulled her hair back into a half-up, half-down style.
At the garden centre, Kate met the owners and staff and heard about the measures that they have had to take to enable the business to safely reopen. The family business was closed for seven weeks before reopening on in May.
