When a supermodel is willing to spill her ultimate beauty secret, you stop what you’re doing and listen.
Speaking to Jessica Gomes ahead of last night’s Spring/Summer Fashion Launch in Sydney, the LA-based beauty—rocking platinum blonde locks for this season’s show—gave us the low-down on her summer beauty mantra and her go-to beauty buy.
Less is more says the 30-year-old, which is easy to say when you’re blessed with incredible genes, but she says it’s all in using the right products.
“Keep it really natural,” says Jess. “I love to start off with just a tinted moisturiser for summer, instead of using foundation you get more of a natural, glowy look.”
And to take that glowy-ness to the next level, she says it’s all about MAC Strobe cream, $55.
“Since I started modeling It’s been a big tip I’ve picked up.”
Having modelled for over a decade, the Perth-born beauty with the Chinese/Portuguese background, has picked up so many beauty tips along the way that she is now culminating all that knowledge into her own beauty range.

The travel-inspired range will feature products inspired by her own needs when she travels.
“I can’t live without a rose water spray, a serum – a Hyaluronic serum – and I can’t live without face masks. Anything to do with hydration I love.”
The line will be available through David Jones next year.
