PARTY PREP

“A great beauty look starts with fresh, radiant, glowing skin, so going into the party season I try my best to fit in a treatment or two. I will go for a light peel at The Clinic [in Sydney] just to amp up my glow and give my skin a little bit of extra love. I also like to apply an Olay Illuminating Sheet Mask before doing my makeup to give my skin a fresh, natural glow.”

But the model says it not just what you put on your skin, but also what you put in your body.

“I always make sure I drink plenty of water and feed my body with healthy food.”

GO BOLD

“I like to have fun with a coloured lip. I’m really into a brown or burgundy lip at the moment with a nude eye and contoured, bronzey skin and lots of mascara and a bold brow. For me, wearing a colour on my lips makes me feel instantly glamourous – which is exactly how I want to feel if I am going to a party.”

SUMMER SKIN

“I always cleanse before bed – that’s a non-negotiable, even when I’m exhausted – and I have a clockwork skincare routine that is tried and tested. I also try to give my skin a break from make-up where possible. Saltwater does wonders in summer!”

MAKE-UP KIT MUSTS

“If I have to narrow it down, I would pick the new Dior Backstage foundation in shade 2.5N [Franklin is a friend of Dior], the Olay Illuminating Sheet Mask, Charlotte Tilbury’s cream blush (I’m really into blush for a night out as it instantly makes you look fresh), Marc Jacobs Beauty mascara, and Tom Ford Cheek Colour.”

EAT UP

“Wash your make-up off at the end of each day, drink lots of water and include good fats in your diet, such as avocado, nuts and olive oil; it does wonders for your hair, skin and nails.”
