Is this the new dry shampoo?

Want. Need.

If you’re even remotely interested in your hair, chances are you’ve heard of Jen Atkin. The celebrity hair stylist turned actual celebrity in her own right – Atkin has amassed 1.8 million Instagram followers – tends to the tresses of everyone from Gigi Hadid to Chrissy Teigen, Kim Kardashian to Jenna Dewan Tatum, and just about every other celeb you can think of to boot.

Atkin is also the mastermind behind haircare brand Ouai (available from Sephora in Australia) and she’s about to release her most hyped product yet: the Ouai Dry Shampoo Foam.

“Like taking your hair to the drycleaners,” according to Atkin, the mousse-like formula works to soak up shine, add volume and refresh your hairstyle, without leaving the telltale white residue of a traditional dry shampoo.

“It’s basically like a dry shampoo on steroids,” Atkin explains in the below video:

If you’re concerned about breathing in the fumes of typical dry shampoo most mornings, this foam has your name on it. No word yet on its Australian release date, but we’ll keep you posted.
