Allow us to explain… ever since legendary make-up artist Pat McGrath pressed ruby micro-glitter onto models’ mouths backstage at Atelier Versace A/W ’16, glitter has been shimmying its way back into the beauty rulebook. Anything Pat McGrath does tends to have that effect.
Her Labs Lust 004 lip kits have since sparkled up the pouts at DKNY S/S ’17, not to mention stars like Chiara Ferragni and Naomi Campbell. Other make-up artists have been swift to follow suit, from Peter Philips’ taupe-y take at Fendi S/S ‘17 to celebrity make-up artists Patrick Ta and Rachel Goodwin.
