Case in point: I’ve used the first generation Airwrap for the better part of two years, and I had the opportunity to test out the new Dyson Airwrap i.d. multi-styler and dryer at the Sydney Dyson Demo Store to compare the difference.
I managed to achieve a full head of bouncy, brushed-out curls all by myself on the first go with the new conical barrel for curls that start from the root and easily switch airflow direction with the quick twist of the barrel at the top of the attachment. No more swapping out barrels for those of you who have used a previous Airwrap before!
I’m not even going to tell you how long it took me to master the conventional curling wand I have at home (and the amount of burns I have from it). This, on the other hand, is surprisingly even more easy to use than the first generations of the Airwrap – and my long hair never got tangled around the barrel.

Will The New Attachments Be Compatible With Previous Dyson Airwraps?
Yes! All attachments are fully compatible with previous Dyson Airwrap devices and will be available to purchase from Dyson Demo Stores and the Dyson website.
