It’s been 84 years, but we’ve finally been given the lowdown on Chrissy Teigen’s skincare routine.
The model, author and world’s most hilarious tweet-er, took to Instagram to share her full regimen after followers kept demanding the tea. And considering the level of the dewy luminosity the mum-of-two has been radiating through our feeds lately, you better believe we took notes.
Just like Jessica Alba, Shay Mitchell and Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Teigen sees skin expert Shani Darden, to guide her on all things glow.
The 34-year-old joked that Darden ‘forces her’ to use the iS Clinical Cleanser and Lotion. But she can’t be that mad about it, as she also wrote, “I will admit I am def proud of my skin lately and feeling myself!” She also notes that these are the only two products in her routine that “I use consistently and they’ve always been so good to me.”

iS Clinical Reparative Moisture Emulsion, $154 at theparlourroom.com.au
For her daily dose of SPF, Teigen uses Control Corrective Oil-Free Sunscreen SPF 30, and her hero hydrators are La Mer’s Creme De La Mer and Concentrate, which she admits are expensive, “but I gotta be honest”.
La Mer Créme De La Mer, $680 (for 100ml) at cremedelamer.com.au
La Mer The Concentrate, $555 (for 30ml) at cremedelamer.com.au
Control Corrective Oil-Free Sunscreen SPF 30, $55 AUD (plus shipping) at shanidarden.com
On the opposite end of the pricey spectrum, are Biore’s Chin and Nose strips, which Teigen says she uses a ‘steady stream of’ in between appointments at Dr Jason Diamond’s (a world renowned facial plastic surgeon) office. And while she almost forgot about them, Teigen also treats congestion with the Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peel Pads, “this is soooo important for on and around my nose”.
BIORE Combo Deep Cleansing Pore Strips, $11.50 at priceline.com.au
Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel, $141 at mecca.com.au
Her favourite face oil on the other hand comes in somewhere in the middle; definitely still a little bit bougie but not necessarily bound to completely blow the budget (sorry La Mer, we promise we know you’re worth every penny).
“Work done, makeup off. MARA face oil, that’s my jam,” she shared via Instagram, her baby-soft skin serving as a ringing endorsement.
MARA Algae + Moringa Universal Face Oil, $100.36 at themarabeauty.com
An antioxidant-packed algae and plankton blend, the luxurious formula plays host to vitamins A, B, C, D, E, and F (AKA practically the whole complexion-aiding alphabet).
It also boasts a 100 per cent natural status, which certainly doesn’t hurt matters. Teigen’s in very glowy company as well; both Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton are also big fans of all-natural plant oils.
Lastly, when Teigen is ‘feeling icks’, she applies Dr Simon Ourian’s Firm and Fade Cream, which benefits include evening out the skin tone and boosting collagen production.
