Right now, Candice Swanepoel has got the pregnancy glow (she’s awaiting the birth of her first child, due in a few weeks), but when she needs a little help, the South African model and Victoria’s Secret Angel turns to a much-loved highlighter.

“A trick I learnt backstage is to apply highlighter on cheekbones and near the tear ducts – it opens and brightens the eyes. I use RMS Beauty Living Luminizer. It has a natural sheen; you can’t see any shimmer or glitter.”

You’d be hard-pressed to find a model, actress or make-up artist who doesn’t love this highlighter, and for exactly the reason Swanepoel points out: it’s got zero glitter and adds the most subtle gloss to skin.

The RMS range was created by make-up artist Rose-Marie Swift, and she’s used the highlighter on Gisele, Miranda Kerr and Karlie Kloss. Hit the points Swanepoel recommends, but then also try a dab on the centre of each eyelid, a little trick Swift herself shared with us.
