If your finger is on the beauty industry’s pulse, then there’s no doubt that you’ve likely heard of the name Augustinus Bader. The highly sought after products have become a must-have amongst celebrities like Hailey Bieber, Victoria Beckham, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Emma Corrin and Sandra Oh, to name a few—as well as amongst famous makeup artists like Pati Dubroff and Hung Vanngo.
And now, the cult-favourite brand has expanded its offerings with the launch of two brand-new products: The Serum and The Eye Cream.
For those in need of a refresher, Augustinus Bader launched in 2018 with a patented skin-rejuvenating formula by a German stem cell scientist of the same name, with no background in the beauty industry. What’s more impressive is the brand’s climb to success, not through advertising or promotion, but simply through word of mouth.
It’s most revered product, you ask? The Rich Cream, a moisturiser targeted at dry skin, that became famous for its TFC8 complex which propels the body’s stem cells to repair and renew, all while providing deep hydration. But the best bit is perhaps the product’s multitasking abilities, designed to replace every product in your skincare routine, besides cleanser.
When it comes to their latest offerings, The Serum comes in a milk-like formula and contains powerful ingredients like the TFC8 complex, vitamin C, squalane and others, that all work tirelessly to reduce fine lines, improve skin elasticity, and offer overall hydration. Additionally, the serum is vegan and works to brighten discoloration, all while smoothing uneven texture and reducing redness.
As for The Eye Cream, under-eye circles and puffiness are minimised, thanks to its blend of the TFC8 complex and vitamin C, as well as a plethora of soothing ingredients like centella asiatica, niacinamide and jojoba oil.
If that doesn’t already have you adding the products to your shopping cart, then perhaps the brand’s ode to sustainability will. The Serum and Eye Cream are both offered in earth-conscious refillable pods, contained in reusable ceramic and glass packaging. But why? The vessels are made to ensure users can disassemble and easily recycle the products once they’re empty, in order to encourage minimal environmental waste.
“The Eye Cream and The Serum represent the future of skincare, fusing clinical innovation with a vision for a more sustainable world,” Professor Bader says, as per Harper’s BAZAAR U.S.
“By extending our unique TFC8 rejuvenating technology and eco-conscious design to two new daily essentials, these new solutions for persistent skincare challenges are ultimately about a streamlined and highly efficacious approach to beauty,” he continued.
“By delivering unprecedented results via mindful and very beautiful design, we seek to minimise waste while maximising the joy of your skin at its very best.”
As for costs, The Serum is currently available to purchase for AUD $525, while The Eye Cream is coming soon and set to cost around AUD $300.
