The Bachelor Australia 2020 has officially entered the pointy end of the season, and as such, speculation as to who will walk away the winner of Locky’s final rose has kicked into high gear.
And while there have been several recent pieces of ‘evidence’ (read: paparazzi photos) to suggest which contestants end up in the top five, and then the top three, it seems the latest set of snaps may have just revealed the actual winner of the season.
The paparazzi pictures in question were published by Daily Mail on September 15 (see them here), and appeared to suggest the winner by a process of, er, ‘elimination’, if you will.
Captured in the photos were Bella Varelis and intruder Bec Cvilikas, both of whom could be seen enjoying a meal together at popular Bondi restaurant Bills. Other photos taken on the same day showed the pair doing the Bondi to Bronte coastal walk.
Translation? It seems highly unlikely that you would do that with a fellow finalist if one of you had ‘won’ the man you were competing for, which subtly suggests that fan favourite Irena Srbniovska may well be The Bachelor Australia’s 2020 winner.
Interestingly enough, it’s not the first time Bec and Bella have been spotted hanging out, with Bec recently seen celebrating Father’s Day with Bella and her family, which seems very much to suggest that neither of them walk away with Locky’s final rose.
Of course, it’s entirely possible these photos are a ruse (or, you know, two women can still be friends after competing for the same man on a dating show), but as a general based-on-past-Bachelors rule, that usually isn’t the case.
There have been the odd exceptions to the rule, like Laura Byrne, who was photographed hanging out with a fellow contestant mere weeks before we saw her and Matty J confirm their love in their season finale, but most of the time, that’s not the case.
In any case, time will reveal all (including, you know, if Locky’s actually still single). We shall see!
