Astounding new research has found a century-old fertility treatment could be just as successful as IVF treatment.
And the best part? Itโs free.
The testโwhich is available free of charge under Medicare in Australiaโ involves the fallopian tubes being flushed out with iodised poppy seed oil, news.com.aureports.
Australian obstetrician and researcher Professor Ben Mol said in the groundbreaking study, 40 percent of infertile women got pregnant after their fallopian tubes were flushed out.
While 29 percent of women whose fallopian tubes were flushed with water became pregnant within six months, 40 percent of women fell pregnant after their tubes were flushed out with poppy seed oil.
Professor Mol said only around 20 per cent of the women studied โwould have become pregnant without any treatmentโ.
By comparison, around 40 percent of women under the age of 30 fall pregnant after one cycle of IVF.
The professor recommends that more women could try having their fallopian tubes flushed before starting on IVF, New Scientist notes.
โIf you know your infertility is due to poor semen quality or no ovulation then this is not going to help, but if thereโs any other cause this might be beneficial,โ he told the publication. โItโs really cheap compared with IVF.โ
Called a hysterosalpingography (HSG), the dye test of the fallopian tubes was first conducted in 1917.

Thereโs a long list of things that people tell pregnant women they should avoid: soft cheese, sushi, undercooked eggs and coffee. At the top of the list? Alcohol.
According to experts, warning women to avoid alcohol completely during pregnancy is sexist and overblown.
The Guardian UK reports that the revised guidelines advising pregnant women not to drink at all, which were implemented in January 2016, are not based on reliable evidence.
A group of academics, doctors and maternal rights campaigners argue that the warnings could lead to unnecessary anxiety. They go as far as suggesting that some mothers-to-be may even be having an abortion because they are worried they may have damaged their unborn baby by drinking too much.

Jennie Bristow, a senior lecturer in sociology, criticised the overblown warnings given to expecting mothers. โDoes it simply make for healthier pregnancies or is it scaring women about their bodies and their babies? Promoting fear is not a good way to care for pregnant women,โ she told The Guardian UK.
Ellie Lee, the director of Kent Universityโs centre for parenting and culture studies, added that the advice is sexist because it causes anxiety and prevents women from socialising. โThe exclusion of women from an ordinary activity on the basis of โprecautionโ can more properly be called sexist than benign,โ she said.
In Australia, the DrinkWise website advises women to abstain from drinking if they are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding. It says, โPregnant women should never become intoxicated. This is because alcohol crosses from the motherโs blood stream into the babyโs blood stream. So when you drink, so does your baby.โ
There is no strong evidence that low-level drinking causes harm to unborn babies, reports the ABC. However, moderate level drinking may increase the risk of preterm birth and behavioral problems down the track.

A Tasmanian woman is warning of an online shopping scam after receiving a mysterious package containing beauty products she didnโt order.
The company, LuxStyle, then demanded payment from the mother-of-one, threatening to send her to the debt collectors.
Assuming at the start that the package was sent to her by mistake, Asya Moussawi sent the company an email to which they responded saying they โdo not send unsolicited shipmentsโ and that if she wanted to return the products she would have to pay for postage and send the products back within 14 days.
โI was surprised because I never order such products online because they are very cheap quality, and then I found an invoice for $67 to be paid within 14 days,โ Asya told Kidspot.
โThis is a lot of money for a bunch of useless products, and I didnโt ask for them in the first place,โ she said.
It โwas confusing and stressful because they sent me an email saying that they will send a debt collector unless I pay the money.โ
She responded to LuxStyle stating that she would not be paying money for something she did not order and that if they wanted their products back, they should pay for the return postage.
After some back and forth, the scammers said they would continue to hound Asya for her โunpaid invoiceโ with automated emails and their โcollection agencyโ if she failed to pay.
The young mother warns, โI want to say to all the mums out there, please donโt share your personal information. Not even your email, your address, or anything. I was a victim just because I shared my name and address! So please be aware, this is really dangerous.โ
ACCC says that if you receive the same sort of package, you do not need to pay for the goods and the company should be paying for the return shipment.

A 6-year-old boy was found shot to death in the backseat of his motherโs car after it was stolen from a grocery store with him inside.
Kingston Frazier, who was supposed to graduate kindergarten yesterday, had been waiting for his mum to finish shopping on at a supermarket in Mississippi when two men pulled up and jumped inside the car.
The vehicle was found 24 kilometres away, with the child dead in the backseat from a single gunshot wound, reports the Clarion-Ledger.
Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder, the two men who stole the car and a third who is thought to be an accomplice.
Kingstonโs family were caught on video collapsing and sobbing uncontrollably after learning about his death. โWhy, God, why?โ a person can be heard screaming.
โJust a great, great, 6-year-old who we just canโt imagine that something like this would happen, that people would have in their heart to do that to a 6-year-old,โ Frazierโs uncle, David Archie, told the Clarion-Ledger.
โEven if I was mad at the world, I couldnโt do this to a 6-year-old,โ he said. โTo me, itโs hatred. There is nothing out there worth taking a 6-year-oldโs lifeโฆI can tell you this, we wonโt rest until theyโre brought to justiceโฆYou can believe that.โ

We really hope this was a technical errorโฆ UK e-tailer Asos has made a lot of women seriously unhappy after they categorised a pair of UK size 10 shorts as Large.
The Pull & Bear shorts started at UK size 4, which had XS listed next to it, and finished at size 10, co-listed as L.
And of course, the internet noticed. Twitter users have had a field day lambasting Asos for body-shaming and promoting unrealistic expectations of women, saying the sizing sent a dangerous message to the girls and young women who shop on their site.

Women wearing a full facial veil in public places like universities or courtrooms in Austria will be hit with a fine of up to $225 AUD.
Wearing clothing that covers a womanโs faceโsuch as a burqa or niqabโwill be outlawed in Austria after parliament passed the controversial legislation on Tuesday.
The ban, which will come into effect in October, includes fines of 150 euros for women wearing full facial veils, the New York Timesreports.
Legal body the Austrian Bar Board slammed the decision, saying the ban contradicted Austriaโs constitutional democracy and โthe fundamental rights of the freedom of conscience and the freedom of private lifeโ.
According to The Independent, Austriaโs own President, Alexander Van der Bellen, has also condemned the ban.
โIt is every womanโs right to always dress how she wants,โ he told school students in April.
โAnd it is not only Muslim women, all women can wear a headscarf, and if this real and rampant Islamaphobia continues, there will come a day where we must ask all women to wear a headscarf โ all โ out of solidarity to those who do it for religious reasons.โ
The decision is part of wider legislation in Austria that aims to improve the โintegrationโ of immigrants through German-language lessons and mandatory โintegration coursesโ.

A teenage girl sprinted down Sydney streets in the early hours of the morning, running for her life from the man who kept her locked in his house as a sex slave.
The 17-year-old was in her home of Guinea in western Africa when she met an Australian man who offered her work as the cleaner of his house in Sydney. She agreed and the pair flew to Australia.
Upon arriving, the man locked the frightened girl in a room and she was regularly subjected to sexual abuse by a number of different men, reports SMH. She told police she feared for her life.
The teen managed to escape from the house on April 27th, running down the street until she was picked up by a woman โ believed to be called Nicole โ who dropped her at the Asylum Seekers Centre in Newtown.
The girl was then taken to hospital and is now in the care of Family and Community Services. An investigation into human trafficking and sexual servitude has been launched as police try to find the man who flew her to Australia.
Authorities have appealed for the woman who drove her to Newtown, or anyone who heard or saw her after she escaped on April 27, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or the AFP on 131 237.

Molly Hillโs three-month holiday was meant to be a romantic vacation to Honolulu to reunite with her American boyfriend.
But the 26-year-old woman never made it through customs and her boyfriend was left waiting at baggage claim.
US authorities stopped the Melbourne woman when she stepped off the plane in Hawaii after they spotted two innocuous details in her diary.
Appearing on The Project, Molly explained how the entries โbirthday/going away drinksโ and โofficial last dayโ at work gave the impression she had plans to stay illegally in the US beyond her tourist visa.
โIt was very surreal.โ Molly Hill speaks about being detained and sent back to Australia by US border officials. #TheProjectTVpic.twitter.com/Pvp0TNINca
โIt was very surreal. By that point Iโd been interrogated for six or seven hours and then they told me that theyโd reached their decision that I would be denied entry on that day,โ she recounted.
There were no available flights left to Australia so Molly was held overnight in a nearby detention centre.
โIt was described to me as โlike jailโ but you wonโt get any phone calls,โ she said.
She first shared the horrifying details of her detention in a Facebook post.
โI was frisked, made to undress in front of an officer and show that there was nothing in my hair or mouth, and asked to โsquat and coughโ which was absolutely mortifying,โ she wrote.
Seeing the light in the situation, Molly compared the ordeal to the Netflix prison show Orange Is The New Black.
โI was provided a prison uniform (a la Orange Is The New Black but in green) and to add insult the officer gave me a size S bra and size L everything else,โ she joked.
She was offered a blanket and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich โ but little more.
โI couldnโt believe I was in the same place as the chick whose boyfriend convinced her to drive 70 lbโs of heroin and meth over the Mexican border.โ
Molly is now back in Australia and plans for her boyfriend to make the trek here. Hopefully our border officials are a little kinder.

Imagine the terror you would feel if your teenage daughter didnโt return home from school. Imagine how much that terror would intensify when you found out she was half a world away with a convicted killer, 23 years her senior.
That was a reality for Sydney parents whose daughter was found in the basement of an American manโs house last week.
Sean Price, 39, has a long criminal history, including negligent homicide. He is now facing up to 10 years in prison, following luring the teenage girl from Sydney to the U.S. for sex.
Price reportedly groomed the 16-year-old for months after meeting her on the social media platform, Snapchat, last October.
In December, he sent her around $2150 and a few months later was soliciting and receiving naked pictures of the underage girl, reports News.com.au.
The teen suffers from an anxiety disorder and was having family problems when she met Price online, police say.
Her parents reported her missing on April 11th, when she didnโt return to her family home in Lindfield.
The teen had flown to L.A. to meet Price, who hired a car and drove them from California to New York. He admitted to having sex with her several times over the course of the journey.
Last week, authorities tracked the pair down at Priceโs motherโs house in Brooklyn, NY. When his mother answered the door, Price and the girl tried to flee out the back, with police finding them hiding in the basement.
Price, who already had 11 convictions, has now been charged with a range of new offences, including rape in the third degree, SMH reports. He was denied bail.

A car has ploughed through three blocks of Times Square in New York City, one of the busiest pedestrian and tourist packed places in the world.
The driver has a history of drunk driving arrests, and though police are ruling out terrorism as a motive, the act is thought to be deliberate.
An 18-year-old girl who was walking with her 13-year-old sister has died and 22 others โ including the young sister โ were injured, four in critical condition.
The driver, Richard Rojas, 26, tried to flee from the car after ramming it into the side of a building, but he was tackled and has been taken into custody.
โBased on information we have at this moment, there is no indication that this was an act of terrorism,โ Mayor Bill de Blasio told reporters at a news conference in Times Square, as reported by SMH. โWe all feel deeply right now for those who were injured and for their families.โ
Rojas had been driving south around midday when he made a quick U-turn, mounted the curb heading the wrong way down a one-way street and started driving towards traffic.
Annie Donahey a pedestrian who had just left work said, โIt was going at a fast rate of speed and to me it looked like it was trying to hit as many people as possible.โ
โPeople were trying to jump out of the way.โ
Rojas has been arrested for drunk driving twice and has also recently arrested for menacing, police said.

โOutrageously courageous,โ โformidableโ and โstrongโ are just a few ways sexual abuse survivor Lyndal has been described.
In 1990, Lyndal was a boarder at the prestigious Toowoomba Preparatory School and was sexually abused by the schoolโs housemaster, Kevin Guy. She was just 12-years-old at the time.
In her 20s, Lyndal had the courage to speak up about the abuse in a landmark civil trial, as depicted in the new Australian film Donโt Tell.
Her lawyer, Stephen Rocheโwho also wrote the book Donโt Tellโsays the film succeeds in shining a light on the abuse that occurred decades ago.
โItโs a story about justice and what young girls are capable of doing,โ he explains. โLyndalโs a real example to others of being able to speak up and be heard and ultimately prevail. What she did was outrageously courageous.โ
The landmark case exposed a cover-up by the Anglican Church involving the alleged abuse of at least 20 girls, The Australian reports.
It also changed the way Australia handles child abuse claims and eventually led to a royal commission into the sexual abuse of children.
โIn this case the school was found to be responsible for what the boarding housemaster did because they either knew or should have known what he was doing,โ Roche recounts.
16 years on from the trial, the lawyer hopes the film will offer some solace to viewers.
โI just hope that it encourages people who may be feeling that theyโre the only one or that theyโre alone or that they donโt have any option,โ he says.
Donโt Tell is directed by Tori Garrett and stars Sara West as Lyndal, alongside Rachel Griffiths, Susie Porter, Jaqueline McKenzie, Gyton Grantley and Jack Thompson.
Producer Scott Corfield predicts the courtroom drama will start a conversation about what is often considered unspeakable.
โThe message is a clear one, and itโs for all of us, about better understanding the issue of abuse and also changing the conversation surrounding it,โ he explains.
โIt isnโt a taboo subject and itโs something we all need to talk about.โ
He adds: โThis film is a tough subject matter but the feedback is this isnโt a hard watch. Itโs an inspiring tale of one very courageous woman who decided to take on the fight of her life.โ

Oxford University student Lavinia Woodward, who stabbed her boyfriend with a bread knife and was dubbed โtoo clever for prisonโ by the press, has been spared jail time.
The 24-year-old aspiring heart surgeon met her boyfriend on Tinder before things turned ugly one night at Christ Church College in December 2016. He had gone to pick up Woodwardโs medication from the chemist; when he got back, she attacked him in a blind rage, The Guardian reports.
Woodward stabbed his legs multiple times with a bread knife, a UK court heard, while under the influence of a cocktail of drugs and alcohol.
On Monday, the medical student was sentenced to 10 months in prison suspended for 18 months.
Judge Ian Pringle QC told Oxford Crown Court in May that he was willing to give Woodward a second chance.
โIt seems to me that if this is was a one-off, a complete one-off, to prevent this extraordinarily talented young lady from not following her long-held desire to enter the profession she wishes to, would be a sentence which would be too severe,โ he said.
During sentencing, Pringle said the womanโs young age, lack of previous convictions and โdeep sorrow for what happenedโ influenced his verdict.
He noted Woodward had also taken action to address her alcohol and drug dependency.
โ[A]s the reports from the experts make clear, you suffer from an emotionally unstable personality disorder, a severe eating disorder, and alcohol [and] drug dependence,โ Pringle said, 7 News reports.
โFinally, and most significantly, you have demonstrated over the past nine months that you are determined to rid yourself of your alcohol and drug addiction and have undergone extensive treatment, including counselling, to address the many issues that you face.โ

Mother-of-two Andrea Lehane was walking across a pedestrian crossing outside a busy Melbourne shopping centre in 2015 when she was struck down by a speeding mini motorbike.
The nurse was thrown more than five metres by the impact and suffered fatal injuries.
But the rider responsible for the crash, Caleb Jakobsson, sped away from the scene, leaving Andrea choking on her own blood, news.com.au reports.
The loved ones of Ms Lehane have now spoken out about their devastating loss at a pre-sentencing hearing for Jakobsson.
Husband James Lehane told the Victorian County Court that his wifeโs death still โtears him up insideโ.
โMy beautiful wife was snatched away forever for the sake of cheap and reckless thrills,โ he said in an impact statement.
Mr Lehane is now the sole care of the coupleโs children, aged four and five.
โThis cowardly and easily avoidable crime has left me as a single parent of two young children,โ he told the court.
Ms Lehaneโs sister, Adele Paraggio, also shared her heartbreak.
โSuch an inhumane act was done to my little sister,โ she said. โHow much pain did she feel? How could someone just leave someone there? It hurts like hell.โ
ABC News reports Mr Jakobsson pleaded guilty to culpable driving causing death and failing to stop.

Kendall Jenner is not only the queen of luscious, shiny locks, but luckily for us, she also loves sharing her DIY hacks (like the go-to spot treatment she uses to disappear pimples). So, when Kendall shared the secret to her always shiny, always perfect hair, we were not only thrilled to know her insider secret, but when we heard it was something we could also make at home, we were over the moon.
The model shared on her app that she swears by a simple, at-home hair mask that consists of only three ingredients: a ripe avocado, a banana and a couple of tablespoons of coconut oil.
Want to know why it works so well? Avocados are high in fatty acids and vitamins, including vitamins B and E, which are known for their strengthening qualities. Bananas are high in potassium, natural oils and vitamins that work to soften the hair and add shine, as well as help prevent split ends and breakage (who wouldโve thought banana was such a miracle worker?!). And of course, we all know and swear by the benefits of coconut oil: its hydrating qualities work to detangle, de-frizz and seal strands to prevent damage.
To make Kendallโs DIY hair mask, combine all these ingredients in a bowl and apply it liberally to dry hair. Wait for 30 minutes, rinse it off and say hello to your shiny locks.

Maggie Gyllenhaal, Tom Hiddleston and Sir Anthony Hopkins all studied there. And now one of Britainโs most prestigious drama schools, the Royal Academy Of Dramatic Arts, is opening up courses to a new line of students: women in business.
RADA has launched a women-only program that teaches young employees who are entering the workforce how to communicate with confidence and employ assertive body language.
According to The Telegraph, the courses are based on acting techniques at the academy and also instruct women to take up more space and stop apologising. You can learn all that for just over $1000 for a day.
For senior executives, RADA offers courses with pointers on how to โinterrupt and handle interruptions assertivelyโ and โunlock the power of your voice so that when you speak people listenโ.
Itโs easy to draw a link between the launch of these workshops and the very real gender inequality that exists in the workforce. Women continue to be underrepresented in many leadership roles in both the private and public sectors, the Australian Human Rights Commission reports.
And while women make up 46 percent of all employees in Australia, they take home on average $283.20 less than men each week.
Speaking to The Telegraph, RADA client director Liz Barber explained the courses ultimately aim to bolster confidence and empower women.
โWhen they arrive they will be keen to show off their technical prowess, but quite often they havenโt been taught about how to hold themselves and make their voices heard,โ she said. โOur courses are trying to change that by giving women the skills they need to empower themselves.โ
Admittedly, itโs disheartening that these courses even exist in the first place. Instead of teaching women to speak in a manner that defies interruption, shouldnโt our male colleagues just be decent humans and listen up in the first place?
But if the classes give just one woman the confidence to speak up in a meetingโor ask for the pay rise they more than likely deserveโwe canโt knock that.

Blake Lively has just secured her first film role since the birth of baby number two, daughter Ines โ and itโs a far cry from her days as Gossip Girlโs Serena Van Der Woodsen.
Lively will play single mother and disgraced mixed martial arts fighter Jackie in Bruised, a drama that sees her โget back in the cage for one last chance to fight for redemption and give her son the life she always wanted,โ Deadline reports.
Bruised will be directed by The Notebookโs Nick Cassavetes and will require Lively to commit to rigorous training sessions.
Itโs nothing the star canโt handle, however: Lively told Deadline her fitness regime wonโt be anywhere near as intense as her work for The Shallows. โIโm not ready to go work out like that again,โ she admitted.

Kirsten Dunst has had a stellar career, proving her acting chops in everything from Virgin Suicides to Bring It On, but even she isnโt immune to industry pressure to lose weight.
In a recent interview with Variety, the 35-year-old star reveals she was asked to lose weight for her role in upcoming thriller The Beguiled, but she flat-out refused โ and got the role anyway.
Surprisingly, it was none other than director Sofia Coppola who requested she slim down.
The pair, who have been firm friends ever since Coppola cast Dunst in Virgin Suicides in 1998, were both present at the interview, with Coppola admitting she asked the controversial question.
โItโs so much harder when youโre 35 and hate working out,โ Dunst said, going on to blame the filmโs location โ Louisiana โ for making it too difficult to eat well. โIโm eating fried chicken and McDonalds before work, so Iโm like, โwe have no options! Iโm sorry I canโt lose weight for this role.โโ

Like most Australian success stories, this one starts in a shed. After Melanie Gleeson opened her first Endota Spa in a residential house in 2000, her first head office was in an old coolstore in Red Hill on the Mornington Peninsula. โIt was literally a tin shed with a cool room,โ explains Gleeson. โWe had twelve or so people working there, without any heat in winter or air-conditioning in summer.โ
The first Endota Spa head office was a tin shed โ literally.
Gleeson, who started the business with a $5,000 credit card, says the hardest part wasnโt the absence of heating in the office, but the lack of awareness about the wellness industry. โBack then, we had to explain to people what a spa was,โ she says. โItโs not a โspa bath,โ itโs a place where you come to take time out, reconnect with yourself and feel better.โ
Nowadays spas need no explanation, unless youโre booking in for a New Age Light Therapy Treatment (itโs an anti-ageing facial FYI). In the past 17 years, Gleeson has seen a movement towards wellbeing and consciousness. She credits part of her success to this culture shift.
The rest of her success comes down to a whole lot of time and perseverance. Gleeson says she worked โall the timeโ in the early days, โBeing 26 and not having a family, I was able to devote every minute to it. I think when you are so passionate and driven about your work; itโs quite easy to get lost in it.โ
After 17 years, the hard work has well and truly paid off. Today, Endota is Australiaโs largest network of spas with over 100 locations and 1000 staff. The network is worth somewhere between $60 million and $70 million.
From tin shed to luxe shopfront โ the Endota Spa network has come a long way.
While making her first million was a โsuper exciting milestone,โ Gleeson says a bigger moment for her was when a person she didnโt know (and who wasnโt a friend of her mumโs), came in to her spa to buy a product for the first time. โThat moment took it to a whole new level for me. To see someone buying a product because they loved it and not because they knew me, was when it felt real,โ she recalls.
โMaking my first million was a super exciting milestone,โ says Melanie Gleeson.
Now aged 42, Gleeson juggles her role as Founder and CEO with her family commitments and two sons. Since having kids, sheโs had to learn how to say no to things. โI try to spend my time and energy on things I love. When youโre not doing things because you feel obligated, I think you feel more balanced,โ she says.
Unfortunately, Gleeson says the trick to balancing work and life isnโt just having a facial every week. โIt definitely helps, though,โ she adds, with a laugh. Here she shares her words of business wisdomโฆ
Secret to success: Listening to my intuition and trusting my gut.
Breakfast of champions: My husband makes an amazing cheese omelette (not every morning, though).
Best advice: Before I started the business, a friend said to me, โYou can keep dreaming about this, or you can do it.โ She was right, so I stopped dreaming and I did it.
Top interview tip: Make sure you understand the values of the company. Do your research and come prepared.
Coffee order: Generally, I have a lemon and ginger tea. But if I need a coffee, itโll be a flat white with full cream milk.
Wind down: After a long week, I will book in for a massage or a facial, or take a walk on the beach. I also love to play Lego with my boys โ I find it therapeutic.

You may never have heard her name, but Japanโs Princess Mako is set to make history when she relinquishes her royal title to marry a mere civilian: a paralegal by the name of Kei Komuro.
The Princess and Komuro met five years ago while studying at Tokyoโs International Christian University, according to reports by Japan national broadcaster NHK.
The nationโs Imperial Household confirmed to CNN that plans are underway for the engagement, which is only deemed official once a traditional ceremony has taken place.
Imperial law demands that Japanese royalty must give up their titles if they wish to marry commoners. Princess Mako isnโt the first to do so โ her aunt Sayako gave up the crown to marry a town planner in 2005.
Japanese media has become enraptured by Kei Komuro, camping outside the law firm where he works, but so far the man who stole the Princessโs heart has refused to cooperate. โI would like to talk about it when the time comes,โ is all he has said so far.
Fun fact: Komuro once starred in a national tourism campaign in the role of โPrince of the Sea.โ A title the Japanese royal family clearly refuses to acknowledge.

Overnight, a leaked video of Jennifer Lawrence dancing on a stripper pole went viral.
Gossip site Radar Online shared the clip, labelling it a โbombshell world exclusiveโ and saying the actress was โtoplessโ and had โgone wild.โ
Naturally, the outspoken 26-year-old hit back at the website, rightly refusing to apologise for having harmless fun at a friendโs birthday party.
She wrote on Facebook, โLook, nobody wants to be reminded that they tried to dance on a stripper pole by the internet.โ
โIt was one of my best friendโs birthdays, and I dropped my paranoia guard for one second to have fun. Iโm not going to apologise, I had a BLAST that night.โ
J-Law also cleared up that she was not, in fact, topless in the clip โ she was wearing an Alexander Wang Crop top.
Seeing her post, Wang reshared it to his official Instagram account, writing, โmy job is done.โ
Because who wouldnโt want to dress the worldโs highest paid actress for her pole dancing debut?

Oh, here we go again, dipping our crazy long cuffs in the ketchup. Trapping them in car doors. Using them to wipe kidsโ noses with. Wondering where the heck our fingertips have disappeared toโฆ
The new extra-long shirt sleeves may not be practical, but theyโll be unavoidable next season. Hereโs how to handle them:
1. Push them way up above your elbows then fold the cuffs back on themselves, hereby creating a louche cool-girl vibe as seen at Anna Quan show โ and freeing your hands up to eat chips with. Hurrah.

2. Phone a friend. Some fashion outfits are too fabulous not to wear, even if you canโt live your actual life in them. Seek assistance in advance. Proper preparation prevents poor performance.

3. Be realistic. Thereโs a difference between: statement long and stupid long. If youโre not game for rolling them up, choose a cuff that covers the knuckles but not the knees.

One of Emmanuel Macronโs first moves as President has got our tick of approval, with the French leader unveiling a gender-balanced cabinet.
Women now fill 11 of 22 posts in the cabinet across a broad political spectrum, the BBC reports.
The cabinet includes Olympic fencing champion Laura Flessel as Minister of Sports, and publisher Franรงoise Nyssen as Minister of Culture.
In January, Marcon made his position on gender parity in politics clear.
โWomen currently represent 53 percent of the electoral body, so itโs unacceptable that they make up less than 30 percent of those elected to the National Assembly,โ he said. โUnlike other political parties, we plan to respect gender parity.โ
In 2015, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau unveiled a cabinet that, for the first time in the countryโs history, was balanced equally between men and women.
โItโs important to be here before you today to present to Canada a cabinet that looks like Canada,โ he said at the time.

It seems itโs just not the Cannes Film Festival without Bella Hadid in a risquรฉ gown.
Last year the supermodel suffered a series of near-misses in a crimson Alexandre Vauthier Couture gown with an impossibly high split and plunging neckline. It was unbelievably gorgeous and, obviously, very talked about.
For the 2017 Cannes Film Festival Bella chose to wear a pearl gown by the same designer, with a similar plunging neckline and high-split. Hey, she looks good in the style! However, she has fought her way through a series of wardrobe malfunctions as she walked the red carpet.
She almost tripped over her glamorous train:
She took several pit-stops to adjust her bustier top:
And, as always with a daring slit, she accidentally bared her nude underpants on several occasions:
Despite the inevitable wardrobe malfunctions, Bella totally killed it.

For many years, exquisite โจcar design was owned by โจthe Italians: the smooth, sensuous lines of their โจfast and furious sports cars set the European standard. More recently, the German designers, with their luxurious cabins and clean and clinical styles โจof brands like Mercedes and BMW have dominated executive car parks.
Now when it comes to the look โจof cars there is an unmistakable new influence, with the global design โจgaze shifting towards the East. The result? A rejection of the traditional sharp lines and boxy shapes in favour of more smooth-flowing, sculpted โจand contoured body surfaces. These new lines use shadow and light to give the impression that the car is moving โจโ even when itโs stationary.
This shift has been driven by Ikuo Maeda, the legendary global design chief of Japanese manufacturer Mazda, who has spent much of his working life cultivating the brandโs overarching design philosophy โ known as Kodo: Soul of Motion โ that now flows across their entire model range.
The โจMazda RX-Vision has collected many accolades
At its heart, the ethos is about breathing life and energy into a car, โจa philosophy that Maeda says is woven into his countryโs identity and culture. โIn Japan, we feel that craftspeople inject life into what โจthey make, so objects that receive โจthe love and caring attention of these craftspeople have a vital force; a soul,โ he explains. โKodo design is about creating cars that embody that dynamic beauty of life.
โWhen you cook Japanese food, the way you cook dashi [a Japanese cooking stock] will have a significant influence on how the food tastes. Making the perfect dashi is a good analogy for what weโre doing to โจcreate the ultimate form of beauty.โโ
The interior of the RX-Vision retains a classic sports car feel.
And the design world is starting โจto take notice, with Mazda projects racking up plenty of accolades for their new look โ including winning Most Beautiful Concept Car for the Mazda RX-Vision at last yearโs illustrious Festival Automobile International.
The Complete Package
Kodo design โจextends beyond the automobile; Maedaโs team collaborated with Shiseido to create SOUL of MOTION perfume, packaged in a bottle inspired by Mazdaโs aesthetic.

Melbourne woman Olivia went from being fairly โnaรฏveโ as a drug taker to smoking ice as regularly as drinking a coffee.
Oliviaโs story and the experiences of many other Australia ice users were presented in the latest instalment of ABCโs unflinching documentary series, โYou Canโt Ask Thatโ.
Each interviewee from across the country described the literal highs and lows of developing an ice addiction and explained the drugโs impact on their lives.
Olivia first tried smoking ice after seeing her friends pass around a pipe. โThey seemed to be having fun,โ she recounts.
She describes the drug as a โhappy band aidโ and said her habit came to replace other forms of self-harm.
โI was broken for a lack of a better word. I suppose I switched โ I stopped harming and I took the drugs up,โ she said.
โBefore I knew it, it was like replacing coffee, I suppose you could say. Youโd wake up in the morning and have a pipe, and youโd have a pipe through the day, and youโd have a pipe at dinner, and definitely a pipe before bed. It was a bit of a jokeโjust coffee for us.โ
In Australia, the use of ice among meth/amphetamine users has more than doubled, soaring from 22% to 50% between 2010-2013. Smoking ice is considered more addictive than most other forms of drug use.
Olivia said she her memory was โpretty screwedโ as a result of her addiction and she experienced dramatic weight loss as a result of not eating.
โYou could see all my bones, it wasnโt pretty,โ she admits.
For Olivia, sex while on ice was a euphoric experience.
โEvery single endorphin is electrified, itโs just out of this world amazing. And like your orgasms are just โฆ,โ she said.
But the comedown off the drug was devastating.
โYou try to outrun the comedown, you didnโt want to have the comedown, so youโd just keep smoking ice,โ she recalls.
โYou donโt think you can survive without it once you get that hooked I suppose you could say.โ
Now recovering, Olivia confirmed she would never be tempted to take ice again. โNo way.โ

Ed Sheeran tickets are being scalped for more than double the amount they were sold at face value for on ticket resale sites, such as Viagogo.
Tickets to his รท (Divide) World Tour show were available to buy on pre-sale yesterday afternoon, but thousands of Aussies were left disappointed when they missed out due to high demand.
The tickets (which cost between $70-$165 at face value) are now being sold anywhere from $200-$500 on resale sites.
โHundreds of thousands of you have stretched major ticketing systems to the maximum, which is impressive, but we appreciate for you, is pretty bloody annoying,โ Frontier Touring wrote on Facebook,. โPlease remember though that weโre only in pre-sale. More tickets will be available in all ticket categories, for all shows, in the sale to the general public next Tuesday. So stay strong, chances are Tuesday may be your lucky day.โ
โPS โ donโt buy from dirty scalpers because it would really suck to realise you paid 5 times more for tickets that arenโt valid when we go to general on-sale on Tuesday.โ
Promoter Michael Gudinski has assured fans itโs highly likely Ed will announce more shows when tickets are sold to the general public next week.
โThereโs still some pre-sale tickets left, people shouldnโt panic and shouldnโt resort to looking at other ways of buying tickets, particularly from the unauthorised ticket resale sites. Weโve stopped any tickets going on the Ticketmaster Resale site on this tour, Ed doesnโt do VIP packages. Iโm negotiating for extra shows to be added,โ he told The Daily Telegraph.
The โGalway Girlโ singer will kick off the Australian leg of his world tour in March 2018, visiting Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

A phone call, a conjugal visit or a last meal are requests usually associated with the prison system (well, at least in the crime dramas we binge-watch).
And now, one UK prisoner has made a very surprising requestโthat when you think about itโactually makes a fair bit of sense.
Jack Swarez, 48, has called for blow-up dolls to be provided to help improve inmate behaviour and kerb prison violence.
Inspiration struck when Swarez was watching the documentary Sex Toy Secrets, and he decided to write a letter to Inside Timevoicing the unusual request.
โI have a proposal that should be given careful consideration. It might help to alleviate this ongoing problem and, in turn, help to de-stress the wings of every establishment the length and breadth of our nation,โ he wrote.
โInmates could spend their bang-up time together with their rubberised partner. They could enjoy date nights, watch the soaps together, listen to music โ everything that you would normally do with your partner.โ
Swarez, who is serving a 17-year sentence, has given considerable thought to the logistics of how the dolls could be created.
โThere are companies who manufacture these doll women and, if this idea is taken up, everyone who purchases one can send a photo of their loved one and have the company incorporate their features into the doll. Obviously to save on ear-ache from your other half,โ he wrote.
But does the research support his theory about inflatable dolls, or is it a load of hot air?
Forensic psychologist Marcelo Rodriguez told news.com.ausex dolls are probably not the right solution to prison violence.
โSome men will have high levels of testosterone circulating in their system and are likely to be more aggressive,โ he explained.
โHowever, sexual frustration could be a contributing factor to aggression but it is unlikely to be the only factor.โ
The psychologist added: โIโm sceptical that they could reduce violence. They may initially, due to curiosity, but habituation will likely deal in a resumption of aggression because of the reasons stated before.โ
Sorry Swarezโyou might still be entitled to a blow-up doll, but not for the reason you intended.

Meet Tiphaine Auziรจre, the youngest daughter of Franceโs new first lady, Brigitte Macron.
The 32-year-old lawyer has us nodding our heads in agreement over her remarks calling out the โabhorrentโ attacks on her motherโs relationship with French President Emmanuel Macron.
Speaking ahead of Sundayโs presidential inauguration, Auziรจre told The Guardian that comments about the age difference between her mother, 64, and stepfather, 39, were โtotally outrageousโ in 21st century France.
โThese are attacks that we wouldnโt direct at male politicians or at a man who would accompany a female politician. So I think thereโs a lot of jealousy, and that this is very inappropriate,โ she said.
Trump is also 24 years older than Melania Trump, but their age gap isn't attracting this kind of attention via @CNNhttps://t.co/6BtWwJHmg7
โ Chris O'Neill-Yates (she/her/elle/ella) (@oneillyatescbc) May 13, 2017
Auziรจre added: โOn the ground, on the contrary, I meet people who admire what she does, her work, her involvement. If people have nothing else to do but criticise, let them do it, it will only bring us closer together.โ
And while Ivanka Trump has been slammed for sticking by her fatherโs policies and ignoring the feminist cause, Auziรจre could be the feminist first daughter the world needs right now.

A woman has slapped a BBC reporter live on air after he appeared to grab her breast and push her away during an interview.
Ben Brown was on the streets of Bradford with another BBC presenter when the woman walked into frame and interrupted the interview.
Brown can be seen reaching out, placing his hand on the womanโs chest and pushing her away.
Her reaction? Priceless.
The woman swiftly slapped the man and then walked out of the shotโweโd probably do the same.
A spokesperson for the BBC told The Guardianit was โclearly an accidentโ but would not confirm if there had been any complaints about Brownโs behaviour.
Twitter, always a goldmine for quick-witted commentary, responded as expected. โKeeping abreast of the dayโs news,โ one user wrote. โThat was no accident, he looked right at her,โ another posted.
Brown quickly addressed the situation on social media himself by tweeting: โUnfortunate interruption of broadcast in Bradford โ just tried to minimise disruption but v tricky live on air โ completely unintentionalโ.
But we notice he didnโt offer the woman an apology. What a boob.

With just days until Pippa Middletonโs extravagant nuptials to hedge fund manager James Matthews, an extraordinary installation has appeared in her parentsโ garden: a huge glass marquee โ we use the term lightly, for it looks bigger than a very big house.
Said to have space for around 350 guests, the marquee is thought to have been supplied by Belgian company PBI, who specialise in ultra-exclusive, no-budget-spared events.
One industry expert told Daily Mail he estimated it would have cost $174,000 to supply. That far exceeds the average costs of weddings in 2017 for the marquee alone.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will of course attend the wedding on the weekend, as will โ after much speculation โ Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

โLadies onlyโ hours have been introduced at a swimming pool in Sydneyโs west, and many Muslim women are applauding the decision.
According to the Parramatta Advertiser, a new council-run pool in Auburn has installed lightweight screens to give Muslim women the option of swimming in privacy if they wish.
The screens will be drawn every Sunday from 3pm to 5pm at one of the three pools at Auburn Ruth Everuss Aquatic Centre.
Yusra Metwally, the founder of womenโs swimming group Swim Sisters, told the Advertiser the new option would empower many women who may have previously avoided crowded swimming spots.
โThere has been so much discussion about what women can wear in the pool and so many have turned away from swimming for that reason,โ she said.
โ The Daily Telegraph (@dailytelegraph) May 16, 2017
โSome women are worried that what they wear in the pool can expose them to questions, comments or stares.
โHaving that option just means that there are more opportunities to get women swimming and more women in the pool who may have had barriers to enter a pool under ordinary circumstances.โ
The cordoned off space at the pool gives women the option of wearing whatever they feel comfortable in.
The past few years have seen a rise in popularity for โburkinisโโa two or three-piece swimming costumeโworn by many Muslim women.
Speaking to SBS in 2016, burkini creator Aheda Zanetti revealed she had sold over 700,000 of the swimsuits to women across the world.
โNo one needs to judge us on what faith we are if we choose to be modest while enjoying leisure time like swimming,โ she said.

Founded by Mikey Nolan and Toby Jones (ex Ksubi and Insight surf), itโs a little bit skate, a little bit retro traveller and a lot cool. Less than a year old, itโs already stocked in Barneys, Opening Ceremony, Revolve and Fred Segal in the US.
Bieber was snapped out shopping in LA in their โParadise Cityโ design, which features a floral and skull print.
โWe donโt know how he got it,โ says Nolan. โWe didnโt gift him so he must have bought it. We found out they day we were working out the styling for our fashion week show.โ
Said show happened yesterday arvo, and it was the most fun weโve had at MBFWA so far.
Titled โDay Break Moon Clubโ, it extended their offering into womenโs swimwear and ponchos, thereโs an eyewear collab with Le Specs coming up and the brand has been invited to show at the Pitti Uomo menswear shows in Florence in June.
โWeโre a beachwear brand, and if you going to put that on the runway, you need to make it a fun experience,โ says Nolan. โMusic is really important. We were inspired by the idea of escape and weโve been looking at pictures of places like Ibiza and Goa in the โ70s.
โBeach and resortwear can be about the jet-set, but weโre not into that. Ours is more real, where the beach is just part of your lifestyle. Itโs not about some big fancy yacht. Itโs accessible.โ

Guillain-Barre Syndrome is a rare autoimmune disease that affects just one in 50,000 women.
And mother-of-two Crystal Brown was one of the unlucky few who was fighting for her life after being diagnosed with the terrifying condition.
An emotional video posted on Facebook by Crystalโs boyfriend, Joseph Papa, captures her journey from diagnosis to hospitalisation, and then eventually, recovery. Crystal spent 10 months in hospital and was required to learn to walk, talk and move again.
Guillain-Barre syndrome involves the bodyโs immune system attacking the peripheral nervous system.
In an exclusive interview with 9Honey, Joseph explained the video was made to โsend appreciationโ to all the family and friends who had supported Crystal since her diagnosis.
โI just wanted to let them know that although they didnโt see everything, this is what it was like behind closed doors,โ he said.
The video has amassed over 95,000 views
Joseph believes the flu had brought on Crystalโs GBS. โIt took three visits to the emergency room because we had to be sent back,โ he said. โOn the second visit, Crystal got told that it was all in her head.โ
The 32-year-old had to give Crystal mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and she was put into an induced coma after she lost the ability to breathe.
In the 9Honey interview, Joseph also made the devastating revelation that Crystal lost custody of her youngest son, Phoenix, to her sonโs biological father while she was in hospital.
โThe moment that we told her she cried for weeks,โ he said.
A friend has set up a GoFundMe crowdfunding page to raise money for Crystal and her family. You can donate to the page here: gofundme.com/crystals-road-to-recovery

Real life Revenge couple Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman became engaged last week. Much to the delight of fans, the pair shared their happy news on Instagram with a classing engagement ring photo.
Now, the star has given her second interview ever about Josh, spilling the details on the proposal to Entertainment Tonight.
โItโs literally only been a couple of days, but itโs amazing. Iโm really happy! We were in nature on a hike kind of doing what we do,โ she told the publication. โIt was very, sort of,us. It was great โ beautiful.โ
โItโs been a crazy week,โ the actress, whose medical drama The Resident has just been picked up as a pilot, told the publication. โI found out about the show two hours after we got engaged so it was, like โ I donโt think I slept for three nights. Itโs been good, itโs been really positive.โ
Despite the obvious excitement, Emily revealed that wedding planning isnโt even on her mind.
โI never was the girl who knew what she wanted to do for a wedding,โ she said. โ[Iโm] just enjoying this moment. Itโs really nice, you know?โ
Emily and Josh were first linked in 2012, when they played volatile love interests on the hit show Revenge. The only other time Emily has spoken about her relationship was in an interview with InStyle Australia in April, 2014.
โI have a wonderful love in my life,โ she said. โTrust is the most important thing in any relationship, because everything falls into place after that.โ
The Canadian star also revealed that she canโt wait to start a family with her British beau, โI find myself dreaming about [having children] all the time,โ she admitted. โIn your late 20s, you start to realise you canโt call yourself a baby anymore.โ

On May 16 fans rushed to their computer screens and phones to frantically try and purchase pre-sale tickets to Ed Sheeranโs Australian tour, but sadly many were left without their desired allocations.
However, all can be rectified as the Gallaway Girl singerโs promoters Frontier Touring have taken to their Facebook page to confirm that more shows have been added to his tour.
โTo meet the overwhelming demand, weโre happy to announce additional shows,โ they wrote.
โIโm overwhelmed with the response, to match that record is very humbling. I really canโt wait to get down there,โ Sheeran said in a statement today.
Frontier Touring also mentioned that Tickets for all concert dates and in varying price categories will be available in the sale to the general public from Tuesday 23 May.

A New York man has shared his heartbreak over the disappearance of his two young sons after their plane vanished in the infamous Bermuda Triangle.
Phineas, 4, and Theodore, 3, were traveling with their mother, New York businesswoman Jennifer Blumin, in a small plane over the Bahamas. The body of the planeโs pilot, Nathan Ulrich, is also yet to be found.
โ Linda Trischitta (@LindaTrischitta) May 16, 2017
Meanwhile, Ulrichโs family is โdevastated and shockedโ, his uncle told CNN.
The United States Coast Guard have confirmed they found debris during a search for the plane east of Eleuthera.
The plane left Puerto Rico on Monday after Motherโs Day and was headed to Florida. A search was initiated after air traffic control lost contact with the twin-engine aircraft.

Princess Mary just proved that you donโt have to buy high fashion to be chic โ even when youโre a royal.
The mother-of-four was attending the Copenhagen Fashion Summit, where she wore an $80 H&M floral skirt paired with a tucked in maroon shirt.
The Crown Princess of Denmark wore Valentino heels and Cartier and Ole Lynggaard jewellery.
Earlier this year, Princess Mary claimed the title of the worldโs favourite fashionable royal, winning 30% of the vote in a Hello! magazine survey. Queen Mรกxima of the Netherlands came in second place and our personal style muse, the Duchess of Cambridge, came in third place.

Once upon a time, back in the 1980s, models routinely danced down runways. You didnโt cast Grace Jones in a Paris show expecting her to trot along quietly with a blank face. Models were personalities. They jived and moved and camped it up in the clothes.
With the exception of Stella McCartney, who knows the power of laughing and dancing, these days most fashion designers take themselves way too seriously for that kind of caper.
Models are instructed to stomp and scowl and do their best to communicate whatever existential crisis the designers suffered to creative their art.
And the music! Donโt get me started on the music. Why anyone thinks angry techno, plaintive mewling or a madman scraping a cheese-grater with a spoon is going to help sell clothes, I cannot fathom.
Thank heavens for Macgraw. Their vision is unashamedly cheerful, and it feels good.
Their Resort โ18 show on Tuesday was a proper treat, from the very first exit: a plaid teddy girl suit worn with a frilly lace shirt. There were jaunty capes and plain kilts, pie-crust collars and puff sleeves. Standout chunky hand-knit pieces (a short-sleeved sweater, hot pants) were knitted by the Country Womenโs Association, who were in the audience, and also embroidered and appliquรฉd little red hearts on dresses and shirts. The shoes were velvet slippers with bows on, sometimes worn in mismatched pairs. The runway was covered in cherry red carpet. And at the end, the model gang danced down the runway to a grin-inducing mash up of Kanye and the Rolling Stones.
Asked how they felt backstage, designer siblings Tessa and Beth Macgraw said, โHappy! We were having a party backstage so I hope it translated to the front. โLove Letterโ was the name of our collection. We do like our shows to be upbeat.โ
Us too.
Why isnโt more of our fashion unashamedly cheerful? According to the 2017 World Happiness Report, Australia is in the top 10 happiest countries on earth. (We tie at number 9 with Sweden).
Of course, we have our share of injustice and inequality. Happiness isnโt a free pass available to all. But I think itโs fair to say that the sorts of Aussies who can afford to concern themselves with designer fashion are a pretty lucky lot. We live in a place of abundant sunshine. Our beaches are second to none. Our lands blissfully uncrowded. Our talent impressive. Our Country Womenโs Association knitters, sublime.
What do we want? Smiles! When do we want them? NOW.

A U.S. teenager has died after consuming too many high-caffeine drinks in a short space of time.
Davis Allen Cripe collapsed at his high school in South Carolina last month. He died less than an hour later.
That morning, the 16-year-old had consumed a latte from McDonaldโs, a highly caffeinated energy drink and a large Mountain Dew in just under two hours, coroner Gary Watts recorded, as reported by The Guardian.
The cause of death was said to be a โcaffeine-induced cardiac event causing a probable arrhythmia.โ
Watts said the teenager was considered healthy and that the autopsy showed no sign of an existing undiagnosed heart condition.
โWeโre not saying that it was the total amount of caffeine in the system, it was just the way that it was ingested over that short period of time.โ
โWeโre not trying to speak out totally against caffeine,โ Watts noted.
โWe believe people need to pay attention to their caffeine intake and how they do it, just as they do with alcohol or cigarettes.โ

If weโve learnt anything from the recent water-throwing and โwhoreโ catching on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, itโs that Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian are very much done. The duo tried to save their relationship but, at the end of the day, they just have too much negative history to make it work.
That being said, we donโt imagine the Kardashian-Jenner clan will be all too welcoming of Scottโs new date: Bella Thorne.
Partly because the family donโt seem to want Scott to date anyone, and partly because sheโs the 19-year-old friend of Kylie Jenner.
The actress was spotted going on two dates with Scott this week, with sources telling Entertainment Tonight that the pair had dinner together on Monday night at Catch LA in West Hollywood, California. Afterwards, they continued their outing at The Nice Guy, where they were seated at a table together for an hour.
They later moved to The Peppermint Club nearby, and left at 1:30am. In photos obtained by the Daily Mail,Bella could be seen crouching in the back of his car as they left.
In true Bella style, she Snapchatted from inside Catch LA on Monday, though she didnโt include Scott in her post.
We actually canโt wait to see how this one turns out.

Zoรซ Foster Blake has opened up about her second pregnancy, saying that so far it has been a lot easier than her first.
The 36-year-old who gave birth to her first child, Sonny, in 2014 suffered from intense pelvic pain while pregnant which eventually developed into an inflammation called Ostetis Pubis and Zoe not being able to walk without crutches from 31 weeks onwards.
In a new Instagram post she writes, โThe crux is: I didnโt know pelvic pain was A Thing, and I paid dearly for my ignorance.โ
On her blog, she goes on to explain in full how much daily agony she was in and how it couldโve been prevented had she known what to do.
โIn my obliviousness, I did zero exercise or strengthening, and had no treatmentโ, she writes.
Zoรซ says she was terrified to go through pregnancy again but that so far she has been finding it a lot easier due to โpilates, osteopathy, lots of dull at-home exercises and a spell from a lovely white witch named Brenda.โ
The beauty mogul highly recommends pre and post-natal pilates, getting an osteo โ โone who understands the pregnant bodyโ โ and seeing them at least monthly, and to โAlways eat the goddamn pancakes.โ

53-year-old Anne Gabrielides is dying. In less than a year she has lost the ability to speak, control her hand movements and is left gasping for breath. She says it wonโt be long before she โends up in a wheelchair.โ
The NSW mother-of-four has Motor Neurone Disease and the thing she fears most is โthe prospect of suffering a horrible death.โ
โI will be trapped inside my body with my same intellect, but unable to communicate, unable to feed myself, clean myself, or even move,โ she says.
โYou see, this disease always wins. It just keeps taking things from me until I eventually choke and or suffocate over a long drawn out and painful end.โ
Anne is petitioning to change the euthanasia law in NSW to give her the right to โdie peacefully at the end stage of this bastard disease,โ and has started a petition to do so.
She writes, โDonโt worry, I plan on milking every drop of life out of my existence, but I want the right to choose my ending.โ
โIf I can deny this disease its last victory, it will be a fine day.โ
Later this year the NSW Parliament is voting on the Voluntary Assisted Dying Bill. If it passes it will allow terminally ill people the option of an assisted death.
Anneโs Change.org petition has already reached 61,000 out of the 75,000 signature goal. She plans on delivering it to members of the NSW parliament in hopes of a law change.

Chances are you have read about Kelly Landry recently.
The former model and television presenter is in the midst of a bitter marital dispute that has been played out in a Sydney courtroom and reported nationally. After an altercation at their home last year, police have taken out an AVO against her estranged husband Anthony Bell.
All manner of details from of her life with the man dubbed accountant to the stars and Sydney-to-Hobart winning skipper have been laid bare in the resulting proceedings.
The matter is currently adjourned and toxic doesnโt begin to cover it. And yet it doesnโt come close to the most difficult time in Landryโs life.
Being stuck in a hospital bed for four months, pregnant, feeling โlike I was constantly running a marathon while breathing into a straw into a paper bagโ, desperately hoping to get her baby to 37 weeks, was harder.
Getting through each day was a battle, she told a room of cardiologists and donors at a lunch hosted by the Heart Foundation in Sydney last week.
Congenital heart disease was the culprit: she was in the early stages of heart failure.
Landry was diagnosed with left ventricular non-compaction when she was pregnant with her first child. Since she was a young teenager she had experienced unusual heart palpitations and fatigue but these were variously put down to her athleticism, a busy load at school and stress.
Her first pregnancy proved otherwise: she would go for a walk and then have to sleep for the rest of the day.
โHalfway through first pregnancy I became incredibly and increasingly fatigued,โ she said. โI thought, how do women do this? I must be so soft.โ
She wasnโt. At 36 weeks she went into hospital and thatโs when her heart condition was finally discovered and diagnosed.
In laymanโs terms her heart doesnโt pump blood as effectively as it should.
In real life terms she carries with her the genuine fear that โsudden death or strokeโ could strike at any time.
Every six months or so she updates letters she has written to both of her daughters, should โsomething ever happenโ.
After her first daughter was safely delivered, Landry underwent surgery to insert a defibrillator as an โinsurance policyโ against her heart suddenly failing. She had done a lot of research and didnโt make the decision lightly, but it went awry.
โThe life saving surgery very nearly took my life,โ Landry explained. A nick in her artery meant it gave way: she developed a haematoma the size of a football on her chest.
The pain was โexcruciatingโ, she lost four litres of blood, and woke up in intensive care two days later.
โThere was no defibrillator but at least I was here,โ she said.
Having another baby was a risk but it was one she was desperate to take and one that her doctors said was possible โ if not optimal.
She fell pregnant again and got to 20 weeks before her heart โ quite literally โ started failing.
โI spent 4 months in hospital with a medical team who worked tirelessly to keep me and my baby alive. I was very determined to get to 37 weeks to give my baby the best opportunity in life.โ
โI spent 4 months in hospital with a medical team who worked tirelessly to keep me and my baby aliveโ
It wasnโt easy but she got there and delivered a healthy baby girl, her second daughter, at 37 weeks.
She isnโt having anymore children, she will likely have a defibrillator inserted at some point and she has to take a variety of medications for her condition.
She knows her limits, tries to minimise โtoxicity and stressโ from her life and has to take it easy. โI canโt always be the mummy I want to be, because sometimes I do have to rest,โ Landry said.
Before her marriage dissolved and became tabloid fodder Landry committed to working with the Heart Foundation to raise awareness of heart disease which is the biggest killer of Australian women.
She was booked last November to speak at Fridayโs lunch, ahead of the foundationโs Making the Invisible Visible campaign launch in June. Given the events in the intervening six months, no one would have blamed her for cancelling.
But she didnโt. She turned up and she spoke eloquently, emotionally and frankly about the considerable battle she has waged with her heart. Like heart disease among women, it is not a story that is widely known.
And with Landry, this is the story of her life that ought to be making news.
Heart disease is the number one killer of Australian women

Lianna Perdisโ star is on the rise: hot on the heels of walking her first ever runway late last year, sheโs touched down in Sydney to walk for Christopher Esberโs MBFWA show.
We snuck in a few minutes with the budding star to chat all things beauty โ suffice to say, when your father is none other than Napoleon Perdis, youโve picked up a few amazing tips or two (you wonโt believe the key ingredient in her cleanser).
How are you preparing for your MBFWA debut?
I think itโs important to prepare both mentally and physically for all big events in life. Mentally, I try to enter a confident state of mind. Everyone is unique in their own way and there is no cookie-cut version of beautiful. Itโs important to always remember that. Physically, I eat clean and kiss my beloved pizza goodbye for a couple weeks leading up to a show or shoot, and try to exercise daily. Whether it be a run on the treadmill to my favourite tunes or a yoga or pilates class, or even a hike with my sisters. Iโm not a huge fan of exercise, but I find pilates is one of those, once you start you love workouts.
Do you get nervous before a show? How do you deal with pre-show nerves?
Absolutely! But I try to turn my nerves into excitement and gratitude and just enjoy and savor the moment.
Can you describe your daily beauty regimen?
Anyone who knows me knows Iโm obsessed with skincare, cleansing, priming and having my skin looking and feeling fresh. I begin my morning routine by cleansing with Auto Pilot Hydrating Milk Cleanser. Itโs a creamy, donkey-milk based cleanser so it doesnโt strip my skin of its essential oils (which can sometimes lead to breakouts) and leaves skin feeling incredibly smooth and hydrated.
I then apply Auto Pilot Napoleon Complex Skin Renewal Serum all over my face (and down my neck) which gives my skin an instant wake-up. Whether Iโm going to apply make-up or not, I always apply primer next. Iโm really into calming primers right now which combat redness and impart a soft glow.
Will you be stepping this up in the lead up to fashion week?
I think my routine is quite complex already โ however I will add in a face mask the night before and morning of the show to boost hydration. Travelling tends to suck the moisture out of your skin, so re-hydrating is essential.
Whatโs your secret to runway-ready skin?
As much as I cleanse, prime and hydrate, I think diet also plays a major role in great skin. I find minimising my sugar intake always helps me achieve clear, radiant skin. Also, getting a good nightโs sleep is major, too.
Whatโs the best backstage beauty trick youโve learnt?
Add a little highlighter to your cupidโs bow โ it makes your lips appear fuller and adds a romantic glow to your upper lip.
What โs the most adventurous thing youโve ever done in the name of beauty?
Iโm not into DIY beauty treatments as such, but I did once cover my face in honey (it was something I read in a mag about creating a glowing complexion) and ended up falling asleep with it on all night. Letโs just say when I woke up the next morning my pillowcase and hair wasnโt in the most fabulous condition โ I smelt sweet though!

Just days before Christmas, Zara Tindall and her husband, rugby player Mike, shared the heartbreaking news that they had suffered a miscarriage.
A month earlier, in November 2016, the pair had announced that their daughter Mia would be getting a little sister.
Speaking to the Sunday Times, Mike opened up about their devastating loss and how they learned to cope with the miscarriage.
โOne thing you do learn is how many other people have had to go through the same,โ he said.
It's sad to think Zara & Mike Tindall would be welcoming a new baby around now, if it hadn't been for miscarriage. Hope they are doing well pic.twitter.com/vXZCIt6I8d
The rugby player explained that their three-year-old daughter Mia had been their โsaving graceโ.
โHowever down we feel she will come running up in our faces. When I was playing I hardly saw her; now we can see her grow up. I can take her swimming and I can take her to Ninja Tots,โ he said. โYouโll never be able to see her there because she disappears in a puff of smoke.โ
The news was originally announced by a spokesperson for the couple, who said: โVery sadly, Zara and Mike Tindall have lost their baby. At this difficult time, we ask that everyone respects their privacyโ.
Zara the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II and the daughter of Princess Anne. Zara and Mike married in July, 2011 at a ceremony in Scotland.

Working mums, we need to talk. Chances are you already know that women still do more housework than men. What you might not know, is that working mums spend more time on childcare than their stay at home husbands do.
Yes, you read that right.
Stay-at-home fathers and working mothers spent 19 and 21 hours a week on childcare, respectively.
Meanwhile, stay-at-home mums undertake 74 hours on housework and childcare, compared to 47 hours for stay-at-home dads.
And before anyone thinks about chastising the men in the 4 per cent of families inhabiting the brave new world of stay-at-home-fathering, I have another idea.
We need to take a deep breath and look at how we spend our time. More specifically, we need to look superwoman straight in the eye and stand down.
Some perspective. American research shows that working mums spend more time caring for their children than their own mothers did โbackwhen they didnโt work.
In other words, 1965 Pew time-use studies show that mothers spent 10 hours a week on child care, while dads spent a 2.5 hours taking care of their kids.
As of 2011, mums were spending 14 hours a week on childcare and dads, seven.
The increase came about despite the fact that mumsโ time working outside the home jumped from eight hours a week on average in 1965 to 21 hours a week on average in 2011.
This is madness. Because one critical factor has held steady since 1965: there are still only 24 hours a day and still only seven days in a week.
Women are undertaking more paid work which is critical for their financial security to say nothing of the personal and broader economic benefits.
But even when they are devoting 35 hours to paid work outside the home, they are putting more hours into their children than women in past generations who didnโt work. And they are dedicating another significant chunk of their time to housework.
When do they sleep? If they are a working mum, they probably donโt. At least not enough. And even if they donโt have an infant or a toddler waking them through the night, chances are their to-do list is keeping them awake.
A woman who works 35 hours a week, spends 21 hours a week on childcare and 23 hours on childcare has 89 hours left over in any given week to sleep, eat, shower, socialise and relax.
Iโm not sure itโs sustainable and I believe it comes down to superwoman.
A figment of our collective imagination who has a flourishing career, an immaculately styled home and happy, sufficiently engaged and entertained children whose futures are being molded adequately. Superwoman makes time for exercise, she prepares nutritious meals for her family, dresses beautifully, has an active social life, a wonderful marriage and always makes time to ensure her childrenโs emotional development is tracking well.
Superwoman doesnโt exist, we know that, but it doesnโt stop swathes of us from trying to live up to her impossible standards.
Which is why I donโt think stay-at-home dads spending less time on childcare and housework than stay at home mums is a problem.
To the contrary, I think itโs an aspiration; women need to do less.
On the whole men need to step up in the realm of unpaid work: until housework and childrearing are shared in a more equitable fashion gender equality will remain an elusive unrealistic dream. To that end, as mothers, I think we could take a leaf out of stay-at-home dadsโ books. A book they might even have time to read on account of their efficient child-rearing and housework.
I am not, for a moment, advocating the neglect of children. Far from it. My hunch is that the children in the care of their stay-at-home dads are doing just fine in spite of the reduced hours.
Many mothers might find it impossible to imagine a point in time where there isnโt something to do. Another load of washing to put on or put away. A shopping list to write. A birthday present to buy. Some emails to reply to. Another puzzle to do or book to read.
But just because they can do something, doesnโt mean they ought to. All hours are not designed to be filled. And yet it seems mothers recoil from this: it seems we are magnetically attracted to filling our hours with things.
The reason I suspect stay at home dads have more free time is because they arenโt seeking perfection. They accept done is better than perfect.
Itโs a mantra us mums need to get familiar with.

Well-groomed, defined brows are the secret to a polished beauty look every time. But are you filling in, defining and styling your brows to their full potential?
Here we show you three different (and incredibly easy) ways you can up your brow game.
1. Natural
Think of this as your naturally bare brow, just a bit better. For this look, itโs all about keeping the texture and shape of your natural brow, while enhancing the colour and shape by adding some definition. You still want to see some fluffiness, and the best way to do this is with a brow crayon thatโll add soft definition while ensuring your brow looks โundoneโ.
Revlon ColorStayโข Brow Crayon is excellent for daily use to subtly fill and enhance your brows. Pick a shade that best suits your brow hair and with a light hand, subtly fill in and define your brows by gliding the crayon over the hairs. Start at the fuller end and work towards your tip. The sheer wax-to-powder formula is buildable so layer the colour as you need to get your ideal brow look.
TOP TIP: Complement your natural brow with a soft gold or neutral eyeshadow across your lid, a lined top lash line, and a coat of lash-defining mascara.
2. Feathered
A technique that works on all brow shapes and sizes, the feathered brow has becomethe latest brow trend, and itโs no wonder why. A simple routine of filling in, brushing up, styling and setting will leave your brows expertly groomed and defined without looking like youโve done all that much.
Master this look by using a combo of a pencil and brush-on gel. Revlon ColorStayโข Brow Fantasy has you covered for both, with a pencil at one end thatโs perfect for enhancing your brows, and the tinted brush-on gel a winner when it comes to combing and setting the style. Start by using gentle upward strokes with the pencil to add depth and enhance your brows. Then, use the tinted brow gel and brush your brows up. Start at the full end, and work your way to the tip, brushing up and out as you go. The gel will ensure the hairs stay in place all day.
TOP TIP: Finish your feathered look with a bronzed smoky eye made up of chocolate and nude tones in metallic finishes, with some gold placed at the inner corners of your eyes to make your eyes pop.
3. Defined
Opt for maximum definition for this power brow โ the trick is ensuring you still maintain a natural finish that doesnโt look like youโve taken a Sharpie to your face.
To give your brows this balance of natural definition, use a pencil with an angled tip for optimal control when enhancing your angles. Use Revlon Colorstayโข Brow Pencil to trace and fill in your brows with the flat end of the tip. Creating short hair-like strokes will help you maintain that natural feel, and if youโd like to create the bold definition, layer your colour until youโre happy with the intensity. When it comes to defining the tail, turn your pencil so you can trace the top and bottom line of your brow with the longest side, making sure the two lines meet at a point. Once youโve done that, use the handy spoolie on the other end of the pencil to help brush your brows into shape and blend away any harsh lines at the same time.
TOP TIP: Finish off your power brow with a fierce flick and lashings of mascara.
Natural, feathered or full, you can use Revlonโs new Colorstayโข Brow Collection to create the perfect arch.

Kate Beckinsale and her 18-year-old daughter, Lily Mo Sheen, are practically twins. With enviable glowing skin, luscious brown locks and pouts perfect for any red carpet smize, itโs well documented that Lily is her mumโs exact copy.
Their similarities were only further proved this week, when Kate shared a photo of her daughter at prom. She also coined our favourite new phrase about fallopian tubes, by the way.
โYou take my breath away @lily_beckinsale#promโ she wrote on Instagram. โyouโre funny and clever and gorgeous and just enough crazy to be my favourite person in world. My Fallopian tube is like BITE ME I KILLED THIS.โ
Itโs not the first time weโve seen the mother-daughter dup twinning. Kate joked that she passed down her resting bitch face to Lily, too.
โIt is comforting to know that the family โI am moments from throwing an elbowโ face has been successfully passed down through the generations,โ she captioned this side-by-side photo.

It was always meant to be the trip of a lifetime, but for 28-year-old Courtney O-Keefe, it was very nearly the last holiday she ever had.
OโKeefe travelled with nine other women on an Australian-organised tour to Thailand for breast augmentation surgery, which left her fighting for her life in an Australian hospital for seven months, suffering multiple seizures and eventually having a double partial mastectomy.
She has been left unable to breastfeed her five-month-old baby, Nine Newsreports, and has also developed a related heart condition.
One of the removed breast implants.
OโKeefe had the breast implants put in at Pattaya Hospital in Thailand in 2013. She paid $7500 for the trip, which she decided to embark on to treat herself after losing 35-kilograms.
She told Nine News she was shocked when she arrived at the Thai hospital. โI just remember thinking to myself, โthis isnโt like Australian standards,โ she says. โIt was dirty, it didnโt feel right and it didnโt look right. It didnโt look clean.โ
Nevertheless, OโKeefe went ahead with the surgery. She says she contracted a superbug from the hospital, however doctors told Nine News she developed the infection after failing to follow post-operative health guidelines.

Danielle Jones was last seen leaving her home in East Tilbury, Essex, to catch the bus to school 16 years ago. Although her uncle, Stuart Campbell, was convicted of her murder in December 2002, her body has never been found.
Now, police have set up a crime scene at a series of residential garages where they believe Jonesโ body has been hidden all this time.
Police drove Jonesโ parents to the cordoned-off scene, which was never searched during the intial investigation.
Over 1000 garages were searched between 2001 and 2002 by more than 750 police officers โ one of the largest cases Essex Police has ever handled.
โWe received information earlier this year that there had been unusual activity in the garage block and I am absolutely committed to conducting a thorough and professional search to see if we can bring the Jones family any closer to knowing what happened to Danielle 16 years ago,โ Assistant Chief Constable Steve Worron told The Telegraph UK.
Jonesโ parents have also released a new statement: โWe think of Danielle every day and hope that this latest search may bring us answers about what happened to her 16 years ago.โ

UPDATE: The 10-year-old girl who found out she was pregnant at five months, following being raped by her stepdad, has been granted an abortion by a court in India.

Itโs quite possibly the worldโs most notorious Snapchat: a cruel and invasive video of an unsuspecting woman showering in an LA gym, caught on camera and shared with the world via Playboyโs Playmate of 2015, Dani Mathers.
Now, a trial date has been set for Mathers, 30, who is being charged with misdemeanour and invasion of privacy after the Snapchat of the 70-year-old woman was โaccidentallyโ set to Stories instead of sent privately in November 2016. The offending Snap pictured the woman showering spliced with a selfie of Mathers looking horrified and the caption, โIf I canโt unsee this then you canโt either.โ
On Monday, Los Angeles judge Gustavo Sztraicher denied Matherโs defense motion, which claimed that the privacy law she is charged with is too vague, NY Daily News reports.
Mathers publicly apologised last year in the midst of savage social media backlash, later deleting her social media accounts.
โThat was absolutely wrong and not what I meant to do,โ she said in the apology video. โI know that body-shaming is wrong. That is not the type of person I am.โ

Through the arrest, the WA police gained access to phone records, computer files and websites, exposing a nationwide paedophile ring whose members allegedly include school teachers and the Sydney-based Channel 9 reporter, the Daily Telegraph reports.
The West Australian investigation began in February when the alleged rapist was arrested and charged with 35 offences.
McCormack, 42, was arrested in Sydney on April 6, after raids of his workplace and home. He has been charged with two counts of using a carriage service for child pornography material.
The senior journalist was released on bail and later admitted to a private hospital for mental health treatment.
His lawyer, Sam Macedone, is saying the charges against McCormack have โnothing to do with the usual child pornographyโ.
โNone of the charges that have been levelled against him involves pictures or explicit details of young kids,โ he said.
โItโs got nothing to do with the usual child pornography where youโve got young children being photographed or in a video or anything like that. Itโs nothing more than a discussion and thatโs all there is.โ
The case is scheduled to return to court on July 4, where the charges carry a maximum penalty of 15 years in jail.

Sara Walsh was three months pregnant when she got off the bus in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to report live for Sportscenter. But, as the former ESPN anchor has revealed in a powerful essay on social media, she โwouldnโt return the same way.โ
Tragically, Walsh had a miscarriage on set, while the cameras were rolling, People reports.
โThe juxtaposition of college kids going nuts behind our set, while I was losing a baby on it, was surreal,โ she writes. โI was scared, nobody knew I was pregnant, so I did the show while having a miscarriage. On television.โ
Worse: her husband was a million miles away, watching it all unfold and โtexting me hospital options during commercial breaks,โ Walsh writes.
Walsh shared her story on Motherโs Day alongside a photo of her twins, Hutton and Bree, who arrived in February after another two miscarriages.
โMore than once, Iโd have surgery one day and be on SportsCenter the next so as not to draw attention to my situation,โ Walsh reveals. โWe then went down the IVF road of endless shots and procedures.โ
โAfter several rounds, we could only salvage two eggs.โ
Miraculously, Walsh fell pregnant โ with twins โ but kept her pregnancy quiet for fear of losing them too.
โThere would be no baby announcement, no shower, we didnโt buy a single thing in preparation for the babies, because I wasnโt sure theyโd show up,โ she writes.
Now, Walsh is relishing motherhood, and sharing her story to raise awareness of miscarriages.

When two police officers visited Brisbane chef Marcus Volkeโs inner-city unit in October 2014 for a welfare check, they initially thought the horrific scene before them was a โsick prankโ.
The pair were responding to a report from building managers about the presence of strange odours and blood on the carpet, The Australian reports.
But the officers were sickened to discover the dismembered and cooked remains of Volkeโs transgender partner, Mayang Prasetyo.
According to The Guardian, officers found Prasetyoโs feet sticking out of a stock pot on the kitchen floor, while other remains were in a black garbage bag inside the washing machine.
The body of Volke was found in an industrial bin after he took his own life.
Brisbane chef Marcus Volke
The gruesome details were revealed during a three-day coronial inquest into the deaths and police response.
Senior Constable Bryan Reid told the court he was overwhelmed by the strong smell inside the unit.
โIt was a bad smell, it was something I hadnโt smelled before โ I canโt really describe it,โ he said.
โIโm thinking it could well be a murder thatโs happened.โ
The inquest also heard the chef was seeking treatment for mental health problems a few weeks prior to Prasetyoโs death, writes Yahoo 7.

The daughter of the infamous Tromp familyโwhose road trip remains one of the most bizarre and unbelievable events of past yearโhas finally broken her silence.
The saga began when father Mark Tromp suddenly decided to round up his wife Jacoba and three children Ella, Mitchell and Riana, from their family farm east of Melbourne, and drive them to NSW.
Over the course of the 1,600km journey, the five family members parted ways or fled in separate directions, leading to a police investigation and to two being placed in psychiatric care.
According tonews.com.au, eldest daughter Riana was reportedly found in a โnear catatonic stateโ in a strangerโs ute in Goulburn.
In an exclusive interview with Womanโs Day, Riana revealed her father had been suffering from a mental breakdown, which sparked the dramatic journey.
โYou have a few things and they do build up โ you can get sick in some way,โ she said.
During the ordeal, Riana even came to believe her fatherโs claim that the family was in immediate danger.
Throughout international media coverage of the saga, the psychiatric condition โfolie ร deuxโ which translates as โmadness of many,โ was used as a likely reason for the familyโs strange behavior. Carbon monoxide poisoning, magic mushrooms, and brainwashing were event tossed about as explanations.
โWe are all very embarrassed,โ Riana said of the events. โWe didnโt want to be famous, thatโs for famous people.โ
The daughter confirmed her family was getting on with their lives, nine months on from the saga.
โWe are all happy, healthy and just trying to get back on track again and get over everything thatโs happened,โ she added.

In 2003, the internet started a conspiracy theory that Canadian singer Avril Lavigne was dead. As the story goesโฆ Lavigne committed suicide after her grandfather passed away and โ at the height of her Sk8r Boi career โ her record label hired Melissa Vandella (an actress doppelganger) to replace her.
Late last week, the death hoax resurfaced when Twitter user @givenchyass started a thread on the theory claiming that lookalike Melissa was originally recruited to pose as Lavigne for the paparazzi in LA. It has since been retweeted over 114,000 times.
The thread includes โproof,โ such as the fact that Lavingeโs music style changed dramatically from her skate-pop debut album Let Go in 2002 to the hyper-kawaii track Hello Kitty in 2014.
The genre change isnโt the only โevidence.โ Lavigneโs handwriting has also changed from her first album to her latest.
And her jaw is โcompletely different.โ
Itโs not the first time the death hoax has trended online. A few years ago, A Brazilin blog called Avril Is Dead reignited the theory by pointing out inconsistencies in her skin.
So why has the rumour started up again? Well, this month marks the 15th anniversary of the release of Lavigneโs hit single Complicated. And everyone knows the best way to celebrate a milestone is with a conspiracy theoryโฆ
If youโre still not convinced, ask yourself this: โWould the real Avril Lavigne sell-out to a diet snack brand?โ

Abigail Brown and her boyfriend James Brum headed out to explore Phuket while travelling together in Thailand earlier this year.
The couple had their whole futures planned โ they wanted to have children and get married, but all of that came to a halt after a drunk fight caused Abigail to take her own life, alone in their hotel in the early hours of the morning.
The 26-year-old had left the club, after getting into a fight with James. He decided to give her time to โcool offโ and headed back three hours later to find her already dead.
Abiโs mother, Jane Rowland, told the court this week of the phone call she received from James to tell her what had happened.
โJames said Abi is gone. We had a silly row, she went back to the roomโฆSheโs died,โ she said, as reported by The Telegraph.
โHe said [the row] was nothing. They did not really row. I did not see them all the time but they had a whole future planned.โ
โThat night she had too much to drink. She had gone back in a huff. I know in her mind she thought he was going to follow her back, find her and they would move on and never have that row again.โ
She added that she โtruly believedโ her daughter had not intended to take her own life, that she was drunk and had only meant to show James how upset heโd made her.
โShe meant only to frighten him,โ she said.
Of the pairโs relationship, Jane said they were a โloving coupleโ and โhad a whole future planned.โ
Coroner Samantha Marsh recorded a verdict of misadventure during the inquest, saying she believed Abi took โa riskโ but didnโt intend to kill herself.
โI believe Abi undertook a risk, and that was the risk of putting something around her neck but I donโt believe Abi intended the consequence of what she did,โ she said.
โShe had a healthy lifestyle and was physically and mentally fit and healthy. She added that there โwere no concerns of mental health issues.โ
โI think it went wrong. James did not follow her back from the party like she thought he would have done. He did not come home for three hours, maybe he gave her time to cool off.โ
โFor that reason I am satisfied Abiโs death was due to misadventure. I am very very sorry for your loss.โ
Abiโs death was ruled by the court as a tragic accident.

What to wear on Monday morning? Scarlet puffed sleeves, a red sequinned pencil skirt and suede stilettos shaped like flames โ if youโre model/influencer Tanja Gacic on the first official day of MBFWA.
Seated next to her at the Alice McCall show was Kate Waterhouse in gold sandals carrying her Gucci โDionysusโ bag. Mimi Elashiry somehow managed to pull off hotpants with thigh-high shiny purple boots. The artist Mary Shackman arrived in turquoise nail polish and a psychedelic Romance Was Born bomber jacket. There was leopard print, sparkle and strapless lace โ before we even got to the runway. Well, this is fashion week, darlings. Go hard, or go home.
So what about the clothes? McCallโs beautiful show, titled Bon Bon, was a candy-whipped confection of Marie Antoinette-ish fabulousness, with the designerโs signature rock edge. Her work is never merely sweet. โI was inspired this season by 1980s brocades and ostrich feathers, kind of subversive debutante!โ said McCall backstage โ herself wearing a tiny blush lurex mini dress. Time check? Not quite 10am.
Glitter by dayโฆ Why not? Lifeโs too short not to shine.

At Bianca Spender, there was a more sheen, albeit coming from a subtler place.
She started off this season looking at the work of 1970s photographer Sarah Moon, and the was something of Moonโs slightly blurred romantic melancholia in Spenderโs diaphanous silks.
God, this woman knows how to cut a dress, but her tailoring was also on point. Fantastic coats pulled in at all the right places, slouchy pants, exaggerated pleats. Dinosaur Designs did the jewellery. Effortless is a word we overuse in Fashion Land but thatโs how Spenderโs vision came across. Every look was spot on.

Newcomer Thomas Puttick also went the silk route, with a slouchy take on pyjama dressing. The show was a collaboration with the White Ribbon campaign, and the set was decked with white orchids and giant paper ribbons. Impressive stuff.
Steven Khalil is known for his red carpet gowns, and celebrity fans (model Nicole Trunfio was a recent Khalil bridal) so we expect his fโrow was packed with OTT outfits, a full 60 minutes before the official cocktail hour.

Within the next twelve months, Anne G will likely loose control of her speech, her hands and her ability to move. It is only a matter of time before she is confined to a wheelchair.
Anneโlike 2,000 other Australiansโsuffers from Motor Neuron Disease and says she is facing death in as soon as a year.
โI will be trapped inside my body with my same intellect, but unable to communicate, unable to feed myself, clean myself, or even move,โ she explains on a Change.Org petition page.
Anne started the petition to call on Members of the NSW Parliament to allow her to die peacefully through voluntary euthanasia.
โYou see, this disease always wins. It just keeps taking things from me until I eventually choke and or suffocate over a long drawn out and painful end,โ she says.
โUnless you help me change the law, and grant me the right to choose to die peacefully at the end stage of this bastard disease. Donโt worry, I plan on milking every drop of life out of my existence, but I want the right to choose my ending.โ
In a video posted on the petition page, Anneโs son Mikey also expresses his fears for the future.
โMy fears for Mum, is her being trapped inside her own body and not being able to choose anything, not being able to exist,โ he said.
At the time of writing, the petition has 38,989 supporters.
NSW Parliament will vote on the Voluntary Assisted Dying Bill 2017 later in the year.
โIf it passes, it will allow terminally ill people like me, with only months to live, the option of an assisted death,โ Anne says. โIf I qualify under strict guidelines and safeguards, I could be prescribed life-ending medication and I would be in control of my death.โ

There couldnโt be a better time than Motherโs Day for the most popular baby names in America for 2016 to be released.
The list, announced yesterday by the Social Security Administration, is fairly predictable (yes, Charlotte is on this list too) โwith a few surprises thrown in.
Topping the list of the most popular baby names for 2016 is Noah for boys, and Emma for girls.
Business Insider Australiareports Noah has made big leaps and bounds in popularity since 2007. Liam has also soared in popularity from 89th spot two years prior, up to second place.
For girls, Emma was the most popular name for a third year in a row (Stone, Watson and Roberts are trendsetters in more ways than one), followed by Olivia, Ava and Sophia.
According to Time, just a year after Caitlin Jenner made her public debut, the popularity of the name has plummeted more than any other baby name.
โIt was inevitable,โ Laura Wattenberg, founder of BabynameWizard.com said. โCaitlyn was already falling in popularity. Now it is suddenly controversial.โ
These are the names youโll be sure to hear in the playground:

UK teen Bethany Fitton, 13, was found hanged by her 18-year-old brother Ben in her bedroom, a UK Coronerโs Court has heard, after the pair had a fight that morning.
She still had the words, โI hate my brotherโ scrawled along her arm, The Sun reports.
Ben Fitton performed CPR and desperately tried to save his little sister before paramedics arrived, but it was too late. She died three days later at Leeds General Infirmary.
The pair had argued that morning because Bethany hadnโt woken up her brother to go to work, which was nothing unusual as, like all siblings, they would often fight about โsilly little things.โ
The inquest heard that Bethany often wrote messages and drew pictures on herself.
Assistant Coroner Peter Merchant said, โthere is simply no explanation given to why Bethany would do what she did that day.โ He said that Bethany and Ben appeared to be normal siblings.

Talitha Cummins had it all: the striking TV presenter was killing it professionally, with a wildly successful television career and a glaringly bright future. But at home, alone and on the other side of the TV screen, Talitha was drinking up to four bottles of wine every single night.
Since overcoming her alcohol addiction and going public on Australian Story late last year, Cummins has reclaimed her life: she found the man of her dreams, got married, had a baby and resumed her TV career.
Next week, she will share her story at the Australian and New Zealand National Addiction Conference in Queensland.
โI cover a lot โ denial, culture, what happened to friendships when I stopped drinking, as well as being a pretty shy girl in an industry that required you to be otherwise,โ Cummins told The Gold Coast Bulletin.
Sheโs sharing her story to help challenge the stereotypes associated with alcoholism.
โBeing professional and educated, I wasnโt what people perceived an alcoholic to be,โ she says. โItโs an illness, a disease but people donโt seek help because of the stereotypes. If speaking out helps to minismise the stigma in some small way, Iโm happy.โ
If you or someone you know is battling alcohol addiction, find out what you can do at Hello Sunday Morning or Lifeline, 13 11 14.

Itโs an image thatโs difficult to look at, let alone describe in words.
A photograph by Souvid Datta shows a sixteen-year-old girl lying on her back, reportedly being raped by a man in the red light district of Kolkata, India.
The photograph captures the horrifying reality of daily life for an underage girl forced to have sex with clients.
The photograph caption reads: โMen visiting Sonagachi often drink heavily or use narcotics while with sex-workers, noticeably increasing their chances of womenโs abuse and mistreatment.โ
Why then, was this disturbing image used to promote a photographic competition?
NPR reports that the image of the girlโwith her face in viewโ was used by magazine LensCulture to promote a photographic competition with Magnum Photos.
Benjamin Chesterton, of film production and training company Duckrabbit, has slammed the use of the photograph for commercial gain.
โThis is a photo of a child sex slave being used to promote a for-profit competition by Magnum โ the most prestigious photo agency in the world,โ he wrote on April 30.
โIโve seen some moral bankruptcy in photojournalism, but this is the most extreme.โ
LensCulture has since issued a series of apologies on Facebook about the use of the image and the imageโs authenticity (thatโs another story).
โWe condemn the lack of ethical standards used to create the photograph in question, and we apologize for publishing the photograph (which should never be published anywhere),โ the post said.

A convicted child rapist has spoken out in defence of his wife being allowed to teach at an unnamed Perth kindergarten, after she stood by him despite his crimes.
Perth Now reports that the man was jailed for five-and-a-half years in 2008 for raping and taking inappropriate photos of a 13-year-old who was staying at his home.
But the man has argued that his wife โ a kindergarten teacher โ should not be punished for his crimes by being barred from her teaching job.
โWhy is it all going this far, I donโt understand,โ the man, who cannot be named, told The Sunday Times. โIโve done my crime, Iโve done my time. I just want to move on. Itโs all crap basically as far as weโre concerned.โ
He added, โThe Education Department is fully backing my wife anyway. Sheโs done nothing wrong.โ
Parents at the school are outraged that the woman has been allowed to continue teaching, seeing as she supported her husband during and after his conviction. At the time of sentencing, the judge described the coupleโs relationship as โhappy and positive.โ
The paper reported that parents have removed their children from the school where the teacher has been employed and that and she has been moved three times in response to parentsโ anger.
Itโs reported that parents are particularly incensed that the teacherโs husband attended the school one weekend to help move furniture.
Many of the complaints leveled at the teacher and her husband by parents and community groups centre around childrenโs physical safety at the school. But the school โ and common sense โ make it very clear that the teacher herself poses no danger to students.
The broader issue of the teacherโs judgment is another matter.
Teachers and others who work with children have a duty to their pupils to act as a โsafe placeโ where they can comfortably report violations such as sexual or indecent assault by adults.
In fact, teachers are required by law to report any suspicions they may have about a childโs personal safety to law enforcement.
How can parents be confident that this woman is properly vigilant about child protection issues? How could they feel reassured that if their child was compelled to report sexually inappropriate activity to their teacher, that she would take their complaints seriously, and respond with swift and if necessary, punitive action? Would her compassion for an alleged perpetrator inform her responses?
The answers arenโt easy. The teacher is not responsible for her husbandโs crime. Thereโs no suggestion that her love for her husband means she condones his actions.
And itโs easy to look at the parentsโ complaints from a position of rationality and dispassion and conclude that they may be overreacting or behaving, as the teacherโs husband told The Sunday Mail, like โvigilantes.โ
But a parent should feel that they can leave their children at school every day in complete safety: physically and emotionally. It would be difficult to drive away each day if you were plagued with unease.

Thirteen hours was all it took for Meningococcal B to spread from a small dot to an all-over-body rash on three-year-old Jazmyn Parkyn.
Her mother, Victorian woman Sarah Parkyn, says the little girl is lucky to be alive after contracting the deadly disease.
A timeline of images shared by Sarah on Facebook shows the evolution of the rash from a small spot on Jazmynโs chest at 9.30am to when her daughter was admitted to intensive care at 10.30pm.
โI have posted photos of the rash and the stages to show you what the rash looks like and how quick it changes,โ she wrote in the post. โBut please remember the rash is normally one of the last symptoms to show.โ
According to Meningococcal Australia, meningococcal is an acute bacterial infection that can result in death within hours if not properly treated.
There are vaccines now available for all five strains of the disease. But while the Meningococcal C vaccine is listed on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme, Meningococcal B is not and can cost up $500.
Speaking to 7 News, Sarah stressed the importance of making the vaccine cheaper and more accessible.
โIt should be on the PBS and the National Immunisation Schedule,โ she said.

Instagram has spoken: balayage is so 2016. In its place? Palm painting โ the new way to guarantee flawless, natural, โsun-kissedโ hair colour.
Just ask the man who coined the term, colour director Marcos Verissimo. โPalm painting makes things simple, easy to work with and gives a beautiful result,โ he says in the explanatory video uploaded to Instagram.
Instead of using foils or any of the โparaphernalia people used to work with,โ Verissimo simply applies the product straight to the hair with gloved hands, using his palms to smooth it over strands.
Itโs much like balayage, minus the brushes, which apparently gives a more natural result.
โPalm painting is a progressive play on the balayage technique, allowing colourists to be 100 per cent freehand, melting colouring into the hair with a smoother surface of the palm, allowing the blend to be soft in result,โ Toni & Guy UK technical artistic director Georgie Mathers told Elle UK.

โI met my good friend Gavin when we were younger through church. Gavin told me he was gay a few years ago, and itโs not something that surprised or shocked me.
โGavin lives with his boyfriend Wayne and I know how close they are and how strong their relationship is.
โThe fact that Gavin and Wayne arenโt able to show in society that theyโre in a highly functioning, loving relationship just like heterosexual couples shows how society has deemed them unfit to show love to another human being. Itโs not right!โ
Robyn Fay-Perkins
โTo think that my cousin canโt legally declare her love is insaneโ
Neil Perry, Sydney
โThe food industry is incredibly inclusive; we have a lot of gay and lesbian people in our community who are no different to me, my wife, my children or anyone. My business partner and cousin Trish is gay. Sheโs been with me my whole life and my entire career. To think that Trish and my other gay friends canโt have their love recognised is insane. It makes me feel uncomfortable that my friend Gavin doesnโt have the same rights as me.โ
Neil Perry by Georges Antoni.
โIt breaks my heart that two of my closest friends need to go overseas to get married.โ
Jesinta Franklin, Sydney
โMy husband Buddy and me have a lot of gay friends. Two of our closest friends, a gay male couple, are actually getting married at the end of this year and they really wanted to do it here, but they couldnโt, so weโre going overseas for it. When they asked me to officiate their wedding, it was a huge honour, but it also brought a lot of sadness because I knew their marriage wouldnโt be recognised in Australia. I canโt wait to see the day that love is equal.โ
Jesinta Franklin by Georges Antoni.
โItโs devastating that my aunty canโt marry the woman she lovesโ
Thelma Plum, Sydney
โMy aunty came out two months ago. Sheโs 38 and has a son who is in Grade 12. She said she had been covering it up for a long time. There are lots of reasons why people donโt feel comfortable coming out, but I think thatโs ridiculous because it should be the same as saying youโre in a straight relationship. Sheโs with this beautiful woman now and I am stoked for her. Itโs devastating to know my aunty canโt marry the woman she loves. Itโs just so sad and so wrong.โ
Thelma Plum by Georges Antoni.
โMy brother should be able to marry his partnerโ
Sally
โMy brother has been with his partner Andrew since they were 19-years-old. And theyโre now 64. Thatโs pretty good isnโt it? Other marriages which have been sanctioned and are legal, have faltered. Mine at about 25 years. And yet, 45 years later, there they are, still together. These are great people in really good solid relationships. It just seems really insulting that we can say that any relationship is more valid than another relationship.โ
Sally in the Airbnb campaign Until We All Belong.
โI live with two lesbians who wear rings. Why canโt they take the next step?โ
Alexandra Carlton, Sydney
โKate and Meg live together, own a house together and share a bank account. Theyโre stepparents to each otherโs kids. But should something happen to either one, theyโd struggle for their property rights to be recognised. It is absolutely nuts. Marriage equality in Australia is embarrassingly overdue.โ
Alexandra Carlton
โIn our country, freedom applies to everybody and my son is denied that freedom.โ
Geoff
โGenerally speaking, I was the product of a homophobic upbringing. I didnโt think I could produce a gay son, if that makes any sense. When my son told me he was gay, I asked myself the simple question, โWhat is it about gay people that you donโt like?โ And that came down to unfounded fear, ignorance and prejudice. I felt so ashamed (of my prejudice) and yet I felt so proud of my son. I would happily speak as a proud father at my sonโs wedding.โ
Geoff in the Airbnb campaign Until We All Belong
โMy friends deserve the right to have their marriage recognised in Australia.โ
Sarah Hanson-Young, Adelaide
โI have some very dear friends who have had to travel overseas in order to get married, only then to come back to Australia where itโs not recongised under Australian law. As a politician I find it extraordinary that we havenโt been able to achieve marriage equality. My dear friends Alex and Victor deserve the right to have their marriage recognised. They wanted to celebrate their commitment with friends and they should have been able to do that in Australia.โ
Sarah Hanson-Young by Georges Antoni.

Margot Robbie and her gorgeous family are all about spreading the love this week, as they celebrate her friends Julia Koenig and Nicholas Chalmers tying the knot in Hawaii.
The actress brought along her husband Tom Ackerley, as well as her mother Sarie Kessler and brother Cameron for the occasion.
Bridesmaid Margot shared photos from the ceremony, writing in the caption โGoing to the chapel. J โค๏ธ Nโ

Margot and Tom posed for candid polaroids ahead of the wedding, where they sported matching pineapple print ensembles, because thatโs just what adorable couples do. Apparently.
Other photos from the celebration definitely gave us all a touch of FOMO, as the group enjoyed cocktails and beachside sessions.

We all learnt in primary school that Coke is one of the worst things for your teeth, but never in a million years would we have thought that another fizzy, sugar-iffic drink would have the same effect: except it does, and its name is prosecco.
Weโre not crying. You are.
It gets worse: so acute are the effects of over-indulging, and so widespread, that dentists have dubbed it โprosecco smile.โ
Dr Meryn Druian of the London Centre for Cosmetic Dentistry told the Daily Mail that dentists are seeing people โ predominantly women โ whose teeth enamel has been worn away by the Italian sparkling wine.
Little did we know, but not only does prosecco contain more sugar than Champagne โ about a teaspoon per glass โ it also contains higher levels of highly acidic carbon dioxide (the stuff that makes it delightfully bubbly, but also ruins your teeth).
But before you drown your sorrows in a glass of tooth-friendly vodka soda, know this: Dr Druian doesnโt demand you cut out your favourite tipple entirely. โBut we advise our patients to cut down and not to forget to brush their teeth a pro-enamel toothpaste when they get home,โ he told the Daily Mail.
He also suggests diluting drinks with ice or drinking through a straw.

In October 1997, law student Anu Singh injected her boyfriend, Giuseppe โJoeโ Cinque, with a lethal dose of heroin. She claimed the pair had a suicide pact to both end their livesโalthough Joe was not aware of the plans.
The bright, beautiful student broke her silence for the first time on Australian television in a gripping interview on Sunday Night.
โThere are many things people donโt understand. Thereโs a lot of things that have been overlooked,โ Anu explained.
โOne of the biggest things was, I was suffering from a very, very severe mental illness at the time. If I could have listened to people and sought the right sort of mental help, this wouldnโt have happened.
โI would like to say to [Joeโs parents] that I am deeply, deeply sorry for what happened and that if I could, if there was any way I could turn back the clock, I would do so in a heartbeat.โ
Her boyfriend of the past 19 years, Aaron Erbacher, also opened up about Anuโs past in an exclusive interview with News Corpโs Amelia Saw.Anu and Aaron met while she was on trial.
Aaron admitted he had โcoppedโ jokes from his friends about his relationship with Anu, but insisted she was not โpure evilโ.
โItโs not as though she doesnโt have to deal with this in her own head every other day of the week anyway,โ he said.
โ(And) ever since I met Anu, itโs been โyou know, you might wake up with a needle hanging out of your armโ. And Iโd say, โyeah? And?โ.
โPeople would look at me really strange and Iโd say, โWell, if I wake up with a needle hanging out of my arm I wake up. And if I donโt wake up, well I donโt wake upโ,โ he said.
Joe and Anu in the 1990s.
But Joeโs mother, Maria Cinque, is less forgiving.
โDonโt tell me this bulls**t aboutโฆ you didnโt know what you are doing because I donโt believe you,โ she said in a message to Anu on Sunday Night.
โYou have killed the most precious thing I had in my life, my first son, my first born. The one that was going to carry his grandfatherโs name is not here anymore.โ

Immediately, people started commenting on the photo, saying, โDrinking wine while pumping? hmmโ and, โDrinking wine whilst breastfeeding ๐ค๐ค๐ค not the best thought out pic Iโve ever seen!!!โ
Others were quick to say that though Nicole is having a glass of wine, the alcohol wonโt have reached her milk yet โ something that has long been debated.
โVery little alcohol is passed into breast milk. If she was pumping while drinking it, it wouldnโt even have time to reach the milk, anyway. Research shows this. So Judgy. Let the woman enjoy a glass of wine! Besides, whoโs to say she wasnโt โpumping and dumping,'โ one person wrote.
So, whatโs the deal? can you drink while breastfeeding?
โAlcohol will be in your breastmilk 30โ60 minutes after you start drinking,โ the website states. โAs a general rule, it takes 2 hours for an average woman to get rid of the alcohol from 1 standard alcoholic drink and therefore 4 hours for 2 drinks and so on.โ
It also notes that โalcohol is not โstoredโ in the milk in your breasts, just as it doesnโt remain in your blood. Once the alcohol is out of your blood, it will be out of your breastmilk.โ
They suggest downloading the Feed Safe app which will monitor times and ensure itโs safe for you to have a drink or two.

As far as photogenic drinks go, a canned beverage is not up there with, say, an espresso martini or a glass of prosecco.
But when it comes to picnics, beachside barbecues and the like, oneโs options are usually limited to beer or cider โ a bottle of wine with glasses being simply too hard (and plastic cups too ugly for Instagram bad for the environment) to bother with.
But a Californian winery is set to change the way you drink al fresco: theyโve recently released rosรฉ in a can. And a beautiful can at that:
The Una Lou rosรฉ was the brainchild of husband and wife team Andrew Mariani and Lia Ices, who told Vogue US they created it in honour of their daughter Una Lou, who was born in harvest season.
According to Mariani, itโs โbright, light and pure.โ More importantly, itโs available to order here.

Picking the perfect series of photos on your Tinder, Happn or Bumble photo is already difficult enough โ but a new study shows that what you write on your profile is actually just as important.
Recent research into over 400,000 online dating profiles reveals the words that appeal to both sexes โ as well as those that donโt.
For men, a woman who describes herself as โshyโ or โcurvyโ (can we get a collective eye roll, please?) was the biggest turn-off.
Women didnโt like men who described themselves as โshyโ or โtrustworthyโ, and weirdly, both men and women donโt like the word โhappyโ being used in potential partnerโs profiles, reports Mail Online.
The top three words that did spark interest for men were โsexyโ โ time for another eye roll โ โhonestโ and โconfident.โ
Women, on the other hand, are after men that described themselves as โhonest,โ โintelligentโ and โconfident.โ
โHumorousโ and โromanticโ made the positive list for both sexes, as well.

Itโs no secret Victoria Beckham is our ultimate chic workwear muse, but the former Spice Girl turned fashion designer and mum of four just stepped things up a notch in the silk shirt we must own immediately.
Touching down in Hong Kong for an appearance at her flagship store, Beckham was resplendent in a navy silk shirt dotted all over with bright red lips (she also wore the matching skirt).
Both the slogan tee and the lip print shirt are Beckhamโs own designs, and the latter is part of her current season Victoria Victoria Beckham diffusion line collection.
It doesnโt come cheap โ retailing for $528 at Farfetch โ but we want. A lot.

Unless youโve been living under a rock for the past six months, youโll be well aware of the Gucci logo tee phenomenon which overtook Instagram like the plague.
From bloggers to models to Insta It-girls, it seemed no one was above Alessandro Micheleโs shirt of the season.
The thing with trends that come in oh-so-hot, is how quickly people get over them once every man and his dog (read: blogger and Victoriaโs Secret model) has posted them a couple of times.
Gucci, of course, is well ahead of the game, already teasing the next cult-buy โ this time with a difference.
Introducing the 11-style limited-edition collection featuring drawings by British illustrator, Angelica Hicks.
According to WWD, each tee will have its own unique label and only 100 pieces of each design are being released โ a total of 1,100.
Basically, youโll have to be ridiculously quick off the mark on the May 25th release date to have a chance of getting one of these babies.
โ@angelicahicks, here against the#GucciArtWall in Soho, NY featuring one of her drawings, collaborated with Gucci on the 11 designs for a T-shirt collection available exclusively on Gucci.com in US and Europe from May 25. Only 100 units of each style have been produced, for a total of 1,100 pieces. Similar to an art print, every T-shirt in the collection is numbered with a dedicated label (e.g. 1/100)โ

Hosting a tea party for children of servicemen in the grounds of Buckingham Palace, Kate Middleton recycled her lemon See By Chloe dress โ the same one she wore to another childrenโs tea party in Canada in 2016.
The tea party was held for children of those who have died serving in the British armed forces, with Prince William and Prince Harry also in attendance.
And judging by these photos, it looked like they all had a ball.
